Water-resistant composition
An example composition includes a cloth, which has on each side thereof, a first waterproofing agent, a barrier which inhibits or prevents environmental degradation, and an elastomeric barrier including a second waterproofing agent. Another example composition includes a cloth with a phenolic resin coating having, on each side thereof, a first waterproofing agent, a barrier which inhibits or prevents environmental degradation, and an elastomeric barrier including a second waterproofing agent.
Reinforced blade and spar
A spar for an airfoil comprises a core, e.g. a foam core, a central structural member extending through the core, an outer structural layer surrounding the core and central structural member and a plurality of yarns extending through the central structural member.
Industrial textile, a method for measuring a condition on the surface of the industrial textile and a use of the industrial textile
The present invention relates to an industrial textile (1) for a drying process. The industrial textile (1) comprises a first surface (P) and a second surface (R); and longitudinal edge portions (EP1, EP2) and a centre portion (MP) between the edge portions (EP). The industrial textile comprises a sensor (2, 4). The present invention also relates to a method for measuring a condition on a surface of the industrial textile (1) and a use of the industrial textile (1).
Water Catalyzed Nitrate Fixation of Atmospheric Nitrogen
A woven fabric formed of fabric fibers or threads coated with a hydrogel, wherein said hydrogel is not crosslinked or is partially crosslinked to the fabric fibers or thread, wherein the hydrogel has a number of excess reactive molecules that are available for a reaction with one or more molecules solvated in an aqueous solution, and wherein the reactive molecules of the hydrogel can reversibly bond with the molecules solvated in an aqueous solution, such that the reactive molecules of the hydrogel attract the molecules solvated in aqueous solution when the hydrogel coated fabric substrate is exposed to an aqueous solution.
PLASTIC NETTING IN THE FORM OF RASCHEL NETTING FOR THE CULTIVATION AND HARVEST OF ONIONS
A plastic netting in the form of a raschel netting (2) for the cultivation and harvest of onions. The plastic netting has a plurality of pillar stitches (1) extending mutually in parallel in the longitudinal direction. These pillar stitches are transversely interlinked by traversing weft threads (4). Each pillar stitch (1) being formed by at least two threads (2, 3).
Industrial fabric
An industrial fabric is a web woven from warp yarns made of monofilaments and weft yarns made of monofilaments. The warp yarns are of a double-layer structure. One of warp yarn basic units comprises four sub-units, two sub-units being located on an upper layer, the other two sub-units being located on a lower layer. The warp yarns on the upper layer and the warp yarns on the lower layer are vertically overlapped, wherein at least two sub-units comprise two parallel narrow warp yarns. Upper warp yarns and lower warp yarns are identical in texture structure, or one surface is identical to the other surface after rotating by 180 degrees. The industrial fabric is stable in structure and good in overall consistency. The upper surface is good in flatness, the surface is free from defects, and the quality and intensity of the fabric are improved.
Cured-in-place pipe liner
A CIPP liner for repairing a sewer pipe comprises a cover fabric (1) and a base fabric (2) to be attached to each other using needle punch technology, as well as a stretchable plastic membrane (4) attached to the base fabric (2) with a flexible glue (3), into which flexible glue (3) also the with each other mixed fibres (5) of the cover fabric (1) and the base fabric (2) are glued. From this material, a CIPP liner corresponding to the dimensions of the sewer pipe is cut and sewn, the sewing seam of which is further taped.
Fiber structure woven as a single piece by 3D weaving, and an application thereof to fabricating a composite material part
In a fiber structure woven as a single piece by three-dimensional weaving, first warp yarns interlink layers of weft yarns in a first portion of the fiber structure adjacent to a non-interlinked zone and also weft yarns of a second portion of the fiber structure beyond the non-interlinked zone, and second warp yarns interlink layers of weft yarns of the second portion of the fiber structure adjacent to the non-interlinked zone and also layers of weft yarns of the first portion of the fiber structure beyond the non-interlinked zone, such that the paths of the first and second warp yarns cross in at least one transition zone extending within the fiber structure from the end of the non-interlinked zone, the transition zone extending in the warp direction over a distance greater than the pitch between adjacent warp columns.
ACTIVATED CARBON FIBER, ACTIVATED CARBON FIBER FORMED BODY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THEREOF, ORGANIC SOLVENT ADSORPTION/DESORPTION DEVICE, ORGANIC SOLVENT RECOVERY SYSTEM, METHOD FOR ADSORBING/DESORBING ORGANIC SOLVENT, AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING ORGANIC SOLVENT
An activated carbon fiber is obtained by activating: a polyphenylene ether fiber that contains a polyphenylene ether component having a rearrangement structure connected by a bond at an ortho-position in a repeating unit continuously bonded at a para-position; an infusibilized polyphenylene ether fiber obtained by infusibilizing the polyphenylene ether fiber; a flameproofed polyphenylene ether fiber obtained by flameproofing the polyphenylene ether fiber or the infusibilized polyphenylene ether fiber; or a carbon fiber obtained by carbonizing any of the polyphenylene ether fibers.
FLAVOR SOURCE-CONTAINING ROD COMPRISING CAP MEMBER AT TIP END
A flavor source-containing rod includes: a cap member at a tip end that is opposite of a mouthpiece end; and a flavor source-filled object downstream of the cap member. The cap member includes a natural fiber-containing sheet and the sheet is disposed such that a main surface thereof is roughly parallel to the longitudinal direction of the flavor source-containing rod.
