Operating device for a construction machine
An operating device for a construction machine includes a plurality of operating elements for adjusting operating parameters of the construction machine, and a display unit which is configured to display technical data. The operating device further comprises a docking station at which the display unit is attached so as to be removed without tools and which is provided for connecting the display unit with at least one data line and/or power supply of the construction machine.
Hard Surface Deployed Fiber
A surface-mounted fiber segment includes at least one bare optical fiber glass segment disposed onto a receiving surface, and an adhesive material applied to the at least one bare optical fiber glass segment. The adhesive material substantially encapsulates the at least one bare optical fiber glass segment and adheres the at least one bare optical fiber glass segment onto the receiving surface.

System and method for filling tanks on a customized paint vehicle
A method for filling a tank with a coating material on a vehicle. The method includes providing containers of coating material to a location of the vehicle and inserting a draw tube into one of the containers. The method also includes pumping coating material using a draw pump and into the tank on the vehicle. The method also includes removing residual coating material from the containers and adding the residual coating material to the tank. If the coating material level is not at a desired level, the inserting, pumping, removing, and adding steps are repeated with another container of coating material. If the coating material level is at the desired level, a layer of water may be formed over coating material in the tank.

Devices, systems, and methods related to extracting infill from artificial turf
A machine for extracting infill from artificial turf includes a first conveyor forming an inclined surface having movable tracks to engage and move a length of artificial turf from a first end to a second end of the machine. A rake disposed on the first end of the machine may include teeth configured to engage an underside of the turf for feeding onto the first conveyer. The machine may also include a first roller disposed above the first conveyor, where the first roller is movable to apply a downward force to a top surface of the first conveyor. The machine may further include a second roller on the second end of the machine, where the second roller includes protrusions that agitate the turf for assisting in removing infill. The machine may also include a second conveyor to receive infill removed from the turf for discharge from the machine.

COMPOSITION COMPRISING SATURATED HYDROCARBON AND METHOD FOR DUST SUPPRESSION
A composition for suppressing dust particles includes from about 51% to about 100% by weight of saturated hydrocarbons, and from about 0 to about 49% by weight of unsaturated hydrocarbons. The composition has a content of wax in the range from about 5% to about 40% by weight of the total composition. A method of making and a method of using such a composition are also provided.
Tire image rectifying method
A method of rectifying an image representing a surface of a tire is provided. According to the method, a circumferential marking present on a tire is detected in an image of the tire. Based on the marking, and for each line of a plurality of lines of the image, a reference position on the tire is determined. For each of the lines of the image, a difference between the reference position on the line under analysis and a minimum value of the reference positions for all of the lines of the image is determined. For each of the lines of the image, pixels of the line under analysis are radially offset by a value of the difference.
Self-leveling embedded road surface sensor
An example road sensor apparatus comprises: a sensor casing comprising a first surface for interfacing environmental conditions on a surface of a pavement, a second surface for interfacing a sensor level adjustment element, and a sensor portion including one or more sensor apparatuses; the sensor level adjustment element comprising plastic material that exhibits permanent compression in response to being subjected to a pressure that exceeds a threshold pressure and having a first surface for interfacing the sensor casing and a second surface for interfacing a bottom of a recess in the pavement; and an installation sleeve, the sensor casing and the sensor level adjustment element arranged adjacent to each other and at least the sensor casing arranged within the installation sleeve such that the sensor casing is moveable with respect to the installation sleeve in response to a pressure that exceeds said threshold pressure being applied on its first surface.
