Device for vehicle hindrance and rainwater treatment and system comprising the same
A device for vehicle hindrance and rainwater treatment including a vehicle hindrance body and a well pit. The vehicle hindrance body includes a lower sidewall, the well pit includes a top opening, and the lower sidewall encloses the top opening. The lower sidewall includes a plurality of water inlet holes. The well pit includes an upper part, a lower part, and a partition disposed between the upper part and the lower part. The partition includes a plurality of leaking holes. The upper part of the well pit includes an outer ring belt filled with a rainwater pretreatment filler, a center ring belt filled with soil, and a rainwater collection ring belt disposed between the outer ring belt and the inner ring belt. The lower part includes a water-sand separating folded plate, a water-sand discharging channel, a rainwater collecting tank, and a rainwater storage chamber.
Blast resistant station fixed barrier
A blast resistant barrier system includes a base, a support structure extending outward from the base, a protective barrier that is pivotally coupled with the support structure at a first point of the protective barrier, and a shear pin that is configured to couple a second point of the protective barrier to the support structure so as to constrain rotation of the protective barrier relative to the support structure. The shear pin is configured to shear upon a threshold amount of force being applied to a face of the protective barrier. Once the shear pin shears, the protective barrier is permitted to rotate relative to the support structure about the first point.
TRAFFIC FLOW BARRIER WITH CORRESPONDING PRODUCTION MOLD AND HAND CART
A barrier system is used to block a travel path. The barriers block and direct paths of vehicular and pedestrian travel. The barriers may be shaped substantially as a truncated pyramid with a base surface and planar sides extending from the edges of the base surface to a top portion, where the cross-sectional area of the base surface is larger than the cross-sectional area of the top portion. The angles of inclination between the planar sides and the interior of the base surface are acute angles. The bollard can be cast from heavy dense materials. The bollard includes at least two overhanging lips on the planar sides of the barrier between the base surface and the top portion. The configurations of the bollards provide improved placement, such as with cranes, hand carts, and other devices. Molds to cast the barriers and hand carts to move the barriers are also disclosed.
Cam locking shotgun gate
A gate system includes a cam sled having a cam plate configured to slide along a rail. The gate system also includes a cam follower engaged with the cam plate and coupled to a gate assembly. Actuation of a power source to move the cam sled along the rail causes the gate assembly to rotate about an axis and mechanically lock into position in open or closed orientations of the gate assembly.
Security barrier apparatus
Security barrier apparatus (10) comprising a support (12, 14) and a barrier member (18, 20) movable relative to the support between a stowed position and a deployed position, the support (12, 14) having an upper part (16) for positioning substantially at ground level. The barrier member (18, 20) has at least two telescopic posts one within the other, the inner post (20) being lowermost in the deployed position. A linkage is provided between an outer post (18) and the inner post (20). In use, motion of the outer post (18) between the stowed position and the deployed position causes corresponding motion of the inner post (20).
Shock absorbing retractable bollard systems
A barrier system includes a handrail, and a connector to couple the handrail to a post extension that extends upward from a floor. The handrail has and end with a width measured in a direction transverse to an elongate length of the handrail. The connector includes a socket to hold the end of the handrail. The socket is defined by an elongate channel that extends in a direction substantially parallel to the post extension when the connector is attached to the post extension. The channel has a length that is greater than the width of the end of the handrail.
Crash gate panel and components
A barrier for use with a gate assembly includes a quadrilateral frame comprising top and bottom horizontal members and first and second vertical members, a horizontal gate beam extending longitudinally from a buttress end to a latch end, the gate beam constructed of a W-beam having a web oriented horizontally and extending laterally between first and second flanges, a first stop connected to the buttress end and extending perpendicular to the first and second flanges, a first latch connected to the latch end, the first latch forming a hook comprising a shank extending longitudinally from the latch end, a point located opposite the shank, a gap between the point and the shank, and an opening between the point and the latch end, and the gate beam connected to the frame between the top and bottom horizontal members.
END TREATMENTS AND TRANSITIONS FOR WATER-BALLASTED PROTECTION BARRIER ARRAYS
An end treatment array for crash attenuation includes a transition barrier module formed of side walls, end walls, a top wall, and a bottom wall, wherein the module walls together define an enclosed interior space. The end treatment array further includes a containment impact sled having an axially extending frame. The frame has a width sufficient to contain the transition barrier module within the frame when in an assembled configuration, and has an axial length which is at least one-half the length of the transition barrier module. The frame defines an interior volume, the purpose of which is to contain a substantial portion of the transition barrier module in the assembled configuration, and to contain debris caused by destruction of the plastic barrier modules in a vehicular impact. The containment impact sled is attached to the transition barrier module.
END TREATMENTS AND TRANSITIONS FOR WATER-BALLASTED PROTECTION BARRIER ARRAYS
An end treatment array for crash attenuation includes a transition barrier module formed of side walls, end walls, a top wall, and a bottom wall, wherein the module walls together define an enclosed interior space. Modular vehicle barrier
An exemplary modular vehicle barrier includes a rigid, generally L-shaped frame having a base and an upright portion. The base including two or more joists spaced apart and extending orthogonal to a foot plate, wherein the foot plate is attached to a bottom surface at a front end of the two or more joists, the upright portion configured in a ladder arrangement having spaced apart vertical posts secured at bottom ends to a bottom beam and at top ends to a top beam, wherein the bottom beam is attached to a top surface at a back end of the two or more joists, and a wedge point formed the bottom surface of the second end of the two or more joists.
