The invention relates to a method of building a foundation (1) comprising a steel monopile (2) and a precast concrete part (3) on top of the monopile (2), comprising:arranging a support structure (12) inside the monopile (2), the support structure (12) having a plurality of rods (16) extending radially with respect to a longitudinal axis of the monopile; bringing the concrete part (3) above the monopile (2), with supporting columns (13) interposed between the support structure (12) and the concrete part (3), wherein reinforcement bars (14) protruding from a bottom surface (9) of the precast concrete part (3) extend downwardly beyond the support structure (12) by passing between the rods (16) of the support structure (12); arranging tendons (15) between the support structure (12) and the concrete part (3) and tensioning the tendons (15); andpouring concrete into an upper part of the monopile (2).

A device is provided for the movement and mutual assembly of segments of an excavation battery. The device includes four parts: an upper joint, a lower joint, a flexible element and a stop element. The upper joint is connectable to a driving tube. The lower joint is connectable to one segment of the excavation battery. The flexible element connects the upper joint to the lower joint so that the lower joint slides along the flexible element. The stop element limits the sliding of the lower joint away from the upper joint, and includes a ballast with a diameter that is less than a diameter of an inner duct in one segment of the excavation battery.

A device is provided for the movement and mutual assembly of segments of an excavation battery. The device includes four parts: an upper joint, a lower joint, a flexible element and a stop element. The flexible element connects the upper joint to the lower joint so that the lower joint slides along the flexible element. Sheet piling and installation method
A sheet piling for mandrel-installed engagement with an identical adjacent sheet piling. The mandrel has a guide hook and a rotating toe protector. The sheet piling has a female interlocking feature with a pair of hooks and an engagement hook for releasably engaging the mandrel guide hook. The sheet piling also has a male interlocking feature with a pair of hooks configured to engage the pair of female hooks of an adjacent sheet piling in a multi-piling wall structure.

The invention relates to a drilling apparatus for producing a cased bore with a first drill drive for driving a drill rod in a rotating manner, at the lower end of which a drilling tool for removing ground material is arranged, a mast, along which the first drill drive is movable with a sledge, and a second drive, with which a support tube for the bore can be introduced into the ground. According to the invention a computer unit is provided, in which a current drilling depth of the drilling tool and a depth of introduction of the support tube are indicated. Furthermore, a monitor is provided, on which the current drilling depth in relation to the depth of introduction of the support tube can be displayed by the computer unit. The invention further relates to a method for operating such a drilling apparatus.

The invention relates to a drilling apparatus for producing a cased bore with a first drill drive for driving a drill rod in a rotating manner, at the lower end of which a drilling tool for removing ground material is arranged, a mast, along which the first drill drive is movable with a sledge, and a second drive, with which a support tube for the bore can be introduced into the ground. According to the invention a computer unit is provided, in which a current drilling depth of the drilling tool and a depth of introduction of the support tube are indicated. Furthermore, a monitor is provided, on which the current drilling depth in relation to the depth of introduction of the support tube can be displayed by the computer unit. The invention further relates to a method for operating such a drilling apparatus.
Barrier panel connecting clip and method
An apparatus and method for endwise connecting subterranean barrier members is disclosed. The apparatus includes at least two barrier members with each barrier member extending between top and bottom edges. Further, each barrier member has a side first edge having a flange defining a first connector and an opposed second side edge having a channel defining a second connector. The channel is sized and shaped to receive the flange of an adjacent barrier member in slidable interconnection therein. The apparatus further include a first side panel shaped to lie against a first side of the barrier members, a second side panel shaped to lie against a second side of the barrier members and a bridging plate located between the first and second panel members so as to bridge a gap therebetween, wherein the gap has a width corresponding to a width of the first and second barrier members. The associated method is directed toward creating the apparatus.

An apparatus and method for endwise connecting subterranean barrier members is disclosed. The apparatus includes at least two barrier members with each barrier member extending between top and bottom edges. Further, each barrier member has a side first edge having a flange defining a first connector and an opposed second side edge having a channel defining a second connector. The channel is sized and shaped to receive the flange of an adjacent barrier member in slidable interconnection therein. A drill head for a drilling device for making drill holes in insufficiently stable foundation by displacement of soil material has a base plate, with which the drill pipe end is detachably connected and is closable, on which base plate at least one drill head plate, oriented substantially perpendicular thereto, is placeable. Insertable in the lateral flanks is at least one curved plate, which is provided with first holding means, which are held in second holding means, which are attached on the lateral flanks of the drill head plate. The curved plate is designed in a way and is insertable in the flanks of the drill head plate such that its surfaces are effective as screw faces during the drilling process. The efficiency of the drilling can thereby be improved.
