METHOD FOR ALTERNATELY CONSTRUCTING UNDERGROUND VERTICAL MEMBERS USING TOP-DOWN CONSTRUCTION METHOD
20220243418 · 2022-08-04 ·

The present invention is provided to shorten a period of underground frame construction in top-down construction method, and more specifically, provides a construction method for alternately constructing underground vertical members downward to lower levels and then constructing remaining vertical members during the same time period after mat and foundation construction, thus making it possible to shorten a construction period of the vertical members and an overall construction period. The method includes a first step of installing the earth retaining wall, constructing the underground pillar post, excavating the first underground level, and constructing the first above-ground level floor; a second step of first constructing the core part of one underground level while constructing the underground level slab downward to support the above-ground level core part which is constructed upward; a third step of alternately constructing an underground vertical member downward; and a step of constructing remaining underground vertical members during the same time period after the construction of the lowest level mat or the foundation, in which the construction period of the underground vertical member is shortened, and thereby the above-ground frame and finishing construction can be started early and an overall construction period is shortened.

Related erosion control features and methods are further provided.

Controlling moveable robot blocks to dynamically form a barrier

Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for controlling moveable robot blocks to dynamically form a barrier. A barrier plan is generated indicating a placement of moveable robot blocks at locations in a coordinate system to form a barrier in a geographical area, wherein the coordinates system indicates locations for the moveable robot blocks to form the barrier. Commands are transmitted to the moveable robot blocks deployed in the geographical area where the barrier is to be formed to cause the moveable robot blocks to move to the locations in the coordinate system in the barrier plan to form the barrier.

The present invention generally relates to containment and control of an oil spill caused by a damaged or broken riser in deep water. More specifically, the present invention relates to a reusable unit that will contain oil spills to a specific location and will also allow oil to be harvested as it flows to the top of the unit while minimizing or even eliminating any environmental clean-up impact or cost. The unit of the present invention is dropped over a damaged or broken riser in a closed position, the unit is released and stabilized in sections until the surface is reached and the containment unit is completely erected.

WALE SUPPORT MODULE FOR FILLING AND REUSE OF NON-WELDING GROOVE
20230399809 · 2023-12-14 ·

A wale support module used to mount a wale on a soldier pile of a retaining wall, where the wale support module enables a groove defined between a soldier pile and a wale to be easily filled by a groove filling block, allows a groove filling block-side wale support or a pile support to pivot in response to the installation angle of an earth anchor to respond appropriately to the inclination of the wale so that the optimal anchoring force of the earth anchor can be exercised, can be removed and reused when a retaining wall is dismantled, and allows the stability of the installation of the wale to be increased by a reverse wale hanger.

Device and Method for Mud Solidification Based on Electro-Osmosis Well Points Cooperating with Well-Points Dewatering

A device and method for mud solidification based on electro-osmosis well points cooperating with well-points dewatering. The method includes the following steps: 1) preparation; 2) construction of well point pipe positioning frame beams; 3) assembly of a mobile trestle platform; 4) well point pipe arrangement; 5) well point/electro-osmosis dewatering; 6) filtrate treatment; 7) well point pipe dismantling; and 8) excavation and transportation of solidified drilling slag for utilization. According to the disclosure, well point pipes are adopted and used as an anode and a cathode of an electro-osmosis well, and on-site quick solidification of pile foundation mud is implemented through the electro-osmosis combined with light well-points dewatering; by the adoption of the well point pipe positioning frame beams, the problems that drilling slag in a sedimentation tank has a large water content and it is difficult to arrange and fix the well point pipes are well solved.
