Rotary Piston Machine and Method for Producing a Seal in a Rotary Piston Machine
A rotary piston engine and a method for manufacturing a sealing in a rotary piston engine are described. The rotary piston engine has at least two piston pairs respectively connected via a link, the pistons of which are arranged at opposite ends of the links and, during operation, circulate on an at least approximately circular path in a piston housing, such that varying working volumes are enclosed between the pistons of different piston pairs during the circulation and that, via a sealing provided between the piston housing and the pistons, a fluid flow between the enclosed working volumes is at least impeded. The technical solution described is characterized in that the sealing is formed by a gap between the pistons and the piston housing and surfaces of the pistons and the piston housing delimiting the gap at least at times are irregularly structured.

Compressor Having Floating Seal Assembly
A compressor includes a shell, a first scroll member, a second scroll member and a sealing assembly. The shell defines a first pressure region and a second pressure region. The first scroll member is disposed within the shell and includes a first end plate and a first scroll wrap. The second scroll member includes a second end plate and a second scroll wrap. The second scroll wrap meshingly engages the first scroll wrap to define a compression chamber therebetween. The seal assembly fluidly separates the first and second pressure regions from each other. The seal assembly includes a first plate, a second plate, a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The first sealing member is sealingly engaged with the first plate and the second plate. The second sealing member is sealingly engaged with the first sealing member and the first plate.
Rotary pump with axial compensation, outlet gasket for a pump and pre-fitted pump unit
A rotary pump including: a pump housing including a circumferential wall, which surrounds a delivery chamber, a first end-face wall and a second end-face wall which delineate the delivery chamber at its end-face sides; a rotor, which can be rotated in the delivery chamber, for forming delivery cells; a pressure outlet which emerges on an outer end-face side of the first end-face wall facing away from the delivery chamber; an outlet gasket which is provided on the outer end-face side of the first end-face wall, for sealing off the pressure outlet; and a pressing device for charging the outlet gasket with an axial pressing force.
Pump comprising an axially acting spring gasket
A pump for applying fluid to an assembly, the pump including: a pump housing featuring a circumferential wall surrounding a delivery chamber of the pump, an end-facing housing wall including an outer end-facing surface of the housing which faces axially away from the delivery chamber, an inlet and an outlet for the fluid which emerges on the outer end-facing surface of the housing; a delivery member, moveable within the delivery chamber, for delivering the fluid from a low-pressure side of the pump which includes the inlet to a high-pressure side of the pump which includes the outlet; and an axial gasket which fully surrounds the outlet, in order to separate it from the low-pressure side, in an axial view onto the end-facing wall of the housing. The axial gasket is a spring gasket in the form of a disc spring or hollow-profile spring or V-profile spring or bellows spring.
Vane pump with improved seal assembly for control chamber
A vane pump comprises a housing and a control slide. A rotor rotates to draw lubricant into a rotor receiving space of the slide via a housing inlet and discharges the lubricant via an outlet. The control slide moves to change its eccentricity relative to the rotor for increasing and decreasing a pressure differential between the inlet and outlet. The control slide is biased in a displacement increasing direction. The control slide has one or more seals defining a control chamber with housing. The one or more seals includes a seal assembly received in a recess on a control slide outer surface. The seal assembly has a base element in the recess and a bearing element pivotally attached to the base element and bearing against an inner surface of the housing for sealing. The pivotal attachment includes male and female pivotal connectors coupled together.
Rotary piston pump having a sealing chamber seal
A seal assembly for sealing a pump shaft in a rotary piston pump configured for conveying pump-conveyed fluid comprises a sealing-fluid pump device having a pump inlet and a pump outlet. A blocking chamber is connected to the pump outlet and is disposed so as to neighbor the pump chamber of the rotary piston pump and is sealed in relation to the pump chamber by means of a first shaft seal that encloses the pump shaft. The blocking chamber by way of the pump outlet is impinged with a fluid pressure resulting from the fluid pressure differential that is generated by the sealing-fluid pump device, whereby said fluid pressure interacts with the first seal assembly to seal the pump chamber in relation to the egress of pump-conveyed fluid from the pump chamber along the pump shaft.
Polymeric composite insert component for a scroll compressor
An insert component for a scroll compressor comprises a polymer and at least one reinforcing or lubricating particle. The insert component comprises an annular body and an axial projection. The annular body defines a first centrally-disposed opening having has a central axis extending therethrough. The annular body has a first side comprising a first contact surface configured to engage a partition plate and a second side a second contact surface configured to engage a floating seal assembly. The first contact surface defines a slope between first and second radial locations. The axial projection extends from the annular body and can be received in a second centrally-disposed opening of the partition plate. The insert component can fluidly seal both a first interface between the first contact surface and the partition plate and a second interface between the second contact surface and a floating seal assembly during operation of the scroll compressor.
Pump comprising a spring
A pump, wherein a first pressure space and a second pressure space are formed between an end-facing wall of an accommodating housing and a second housing part of a pump insert, wherein an annular sealing element which is arranged between the end-facing wall and the second housing part encloses the second pressure space and seals it off in relation to the first pressure space, wherein the first pressure space is connected via a first outlet channel to a first delivery chamber which is formed between a rotor and a stroke ring of the pump insert, and the second pressure space is connected via a second outlet channel to a second delivery chamber which is formed between the rotor and the stroke ring.
