The present disclosure relates to hair styling apparatuses and related methods. The hair styling apparatus includes a heated barrel defining a hair styling surface and a central axis, and a rotating member disposed at an end of the hair styling surface. The rotating member is configured to rotate around the central axis of the heated barrel. The rotating member includes one or more retaining elements configured to retain the hair and wind the hair around the hair styling surface. The one or more retaining elements projects away from the hair styling surface.

The hair styling apparatus includes a heated barrel defining a hair styling surface and a central axis, and a rotating member disposed at an end of the hair styling surface. The rotating member is configured to rotate around the central axis of the heated barrel. The rotating member includes one or more retaining elements configured to retain the hair and wind the hair around the hair styling surface. The one or more retaining elements projects away from the hair styling surface.
HAIRBRUSH COVER FOR FORMING A WAVE HAIRSTYLE
A hair styling assembly for forming a wave hairstyle includes a brush comprising a base and a plurality of bristles. Each one of the plurality of bristles is coupled to and extends away from the base and terminates in a free end. The plurality of bristles is positioned on the concave surface, and the free ends of all of the plurality of bristles forming a contour. A cover is removably coupled to the brush. The cover bounds an interior space in which the plurality of bristles and a portion of the base of the brush are positioned. The cover has an engagement wall lying adjacent to the free ends of the plurality of bristles which comprises a flexible material wherein the engagement wall conforms to the contour formed by the free ends of the plurality of bristles.
HAIRBRUSH COVER FOR FORMING A WAVE HAIRSTYLE
A hair styling assembly for forming a wave hairstyle includes a brush comprising a base and a plurality of bristles. Each one of the plurality of bristles is coupled to and extends away from the base and terminates in a free end. The plurality of bristles is positioned on the concave surface, and the free ends of all of the plurality of bristles forming a contour. A cover is removably coupled to the brush. The cover bounds an interior space in which the plurality of bristles and a portion of the base of the brush are positioned. The cover has an engagement wall lying adjacent to the free ends of the plurality of bristles which comprises a flexible material wherein the engagement wall conforms to the contour formed by the free ends of the plurality of bristles.

A housing and a power cable for supplying power to components within the housing wherein the power cable is attached to the appliance via a rotatable connection, the rotatable connection comprising a male connector having two longitudinally spaced connectors separated by a separator and a female connector comprising two longitudinally spaced receptacles. The two longitudinally spaced receptacles may be substantially identical and may be shaped to receive the longitudinally spaced connectors and may have a base portion and two upstanding portions forming a U-shape. The two upstanding portions may have a first straight section that extends from the base portion and may have a second section which extends from the first section and is adapted to receive a longitudinally spaced connector and may have a third section which extends from the second section and provides an opening into which a longitudinally spaced connector can be inserted.

A system is provided including a styling tool configured to treat or shape a user's hair, and a client device configured to communicate with the styling tool and provide feedback to the user regarding a user's usage of the styling tool. The client device is configured to receive input information from the user regarding a desired result to be achieved using the styling tool, and to output guidance information on a method of using the styling tool to achieve the desired result.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS INCLUDING CONNECTED STYLING TOOLS
A system is provided including a styling tool configured to treat or shape a user's hair, and a client device configured to communicate with the styling tool and provide feedback to the user regarding a user's usage of the styling tool. The client device is configured to receive input information from the user regarding a desired result to be achieved using the styling tool, and to output guidance information on a method of using the styling tool to achieve the desired result.
HAND HELD APPLIANCE
A hand held appliance includes a handle and a user interface comprising at least one user operated button wherein the handle has an elliptical cross section having a major axis and a minor axis wherein the user interface is provided on a first vertex of the major axis and the handle additionally comprises a further user operated button and the further user operated button is provided on a second vertex of the major axis. The appliance may further include an attachment for connection to the handle wherein the further user operated button operates a mechanism for removing the attachment from the handle. The user interface may include three user operated buttons which may be arranged in a triangular configuration, each of the three user operated buttons may be disposed at a vertex of the triangle.
HAIR STYLING DEVICE
There is provided a hair styling device having a body defining a chamber adapted to accommodate a length of hair, the chamber having a primary opening through which the length of hair may pass. The device also has a rotatable element adapted to engage the length of hair adjacent to the primary opening, and an elongate member around which, in use, the length of hair is wound by the rotatable element. The device has at least one sensor adapted to detect misplaced hair. The sensor can be connected to a control system for the rotatable element whereby rotation of the rotatable element can be prevented when misplaced hair is detected by the sensor.
