The invention relates to the engines area, in particular to an internal combustion engine (ICE) which can be used on water, air and land transport vehicles. The six-stroke rotary-vane internal combustion engine comprising a stator with inlet and outlet ports, holes for spark plugs and the working chambers of air-fuel intake and compression, alternating with working chambers of expansion and removing of the combustion products; a cylindrical rotor rigidly fixed to a shaft and having longitudinal grooves in which vanes are placed, with combustion chambers made on the cylindrical surface of the rotor between the grooves; side walls; front and rear bearing shields the side walls of all working chambers of the engine and composite prismatic parts are placed in grooves made in the end surfaces of the rotor, the prismatic parts at their end surfaces are pressed by springs to the adjacent vanes and by their side edges are pressed against the side walls of the working chambers. The achieved effect consists in providing an engine with completely sealing of the working zone preventing as leaks of air-fluid mixture beyond the working zone as well as inter-chamber leaks.

COMBUSTION ENGINE AND ELECTRIC GENERATOR
20200106339 · 2020-04-02 ·

There is provided a combustion engine and an electric generator. The combustion engine comprises an engine housing, a cylindrical member configured to rotate about an axis within a cavity of the engine housing, a piston, and an engagement section for engaging the piston. The piston is mounted to the engine housing and the engagement section is mounted to the cylindrical member, or the piston is mounted to the cylindrical member and the engagement section is mounted to the engine housing, such that the piston and the engagement section periodically rotate past one another as the cylindrical member is rotated within the engine housing. The piston engages the engagement section as they rotate past one another, the engagement forcing the piston to compress gases in a combustion chamber, which fire to drive the rotation of the cylindrical member. The electric generator may be driven by the combustion engine.

The engine may have an expansion ratio with a value of at most 8. The rotary engine may be part of a compound engine system.

MECHANISM WITH ROTATING VANES
20200088034 · 2020-03-19 ·

This invention describes a mechanism containing two coaxial rotators, embedded on a driveshaft, (1a, 1b) that spin alternately with two velocities. Each rotator has at least two vanes (2) and during the rotators' spin chambers of variable capacities form between the vanes. When the vanes touch together the velocities of the rotators change (2). Rotation speed changes from V1 to V2 and vice-versa are enabled by gearshifts consisting of two-speed ratchets (3) interlocked with rotators' shafts (1a, 1b) that transmit force from and to steering ratchets (4). At a constant velocity of the steering ratchet (4) after its every 180 rotation the angular velocity of the two-speed ratchet (3) and rotator change. The correct functioning of the whole mechanism is provided by engagement of the steering ratchet, transporting force from and to the two-speed ratchet (3), with the coaxial steering ratchet (4) transporting force from the rotator (1b).
