Vane-rotary gas compressor
A gas compressor comprising a compressor main body including an approximately cylindrical rotor, a cylinder, a plurality of plate-like vanes formed to abut on the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and two side blocks is disclosed. A plurality of compression rooms is arranged inside the compressor main body so as to compress a medium and discharge the compressed high-pressure medium. A back-pressure-supplying groove supplies the back-pressure so as to project the vane toward the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder is arranged. An outer circumferential edge portion of the back-pressure-supplying groove is formed so as to increase a distance from a rotational center of the rotor toward the front side in the rotational direction of the rotor. A sectional surface area of a communication portion between the vane groove and the back-pressure-supplying groove increases until they are separated according to the rotation of the rotor.
Internal rotor-type fluid machine
An internal rotor-type fluid machine includes a rotary shaft, a rotor which rotates together with the rotary shaft, a support portion which is provided on the rotary shaft or the rotor, and which supports the rotary shaft to be tiltable with respect to the rotor, and a pressure chamber inner wall surface which configures a pressure chamber by contacting an end surface of the rotor in an axial direction. The rotor is pressed toward the rotary shaft by a high fluid pressure, based on a pressure difference in the pressure chamber between a high pressure side and a low pressure side having a lower pressure than the high pressure side. The support portion is deviated in a direction away from the pressure chamber inner wall surface further than a center position of the rotor in the axial direction.
Unitary pump and turbine energy exchanger
A positive-displacement unitary pump and turbine is operable as a fluid energy exchanger using a charging fluid as motive force and acting upon a separate feed fluid that exits the turbine at an elevated energy state. The rotor casing defines a rotor chamber having a contoured wall that forms a plurality of lobes, typically in an even number. Each lobe has an inlet port and an outlet port defined by the contoured wall, and the rotor has a plurality of vanes that follow the contoured wall as the rotor spins. The rotor is driven by the charging fluid entering first and second lobes, located generally opposite one another, and exiting the lobes at a lower energy state. The driven rotor is operable to elevate the energy level of a feed fluid in third and fourth lobes, located generally opposite one another.
Scroll compressor having axial guide support
To be as lightweight and compact, for example for automotive technology, a scroll compressor further includes an axial guide that supports the movable compressor body to prevent movements in the direction parallel to a centre axis of the stationary compressor body and, in the event of movements, guides it in the direction transverse to the centre axis. A coupling prevents the movable compressor body from rotating freely. The axial guide supports a compressor body base, which carries the scroll vane, of the second compressor body against an axial support face, in that the axial support face abuts a sliding body such that it is slidable transversely to the centre axis. The sliding body is slidable transversely to the centre axis, on a carrier element that is arranged in the compressor housing.
Adaptive self-sealing microfluidic gear pump
A microfluidic pumping system configured to prevent backflow from an outlet of the system toward an inlet of the system. The microfluidic pumping system comprising a gear housing that has an inlet and an outlet and that houses a drive gear, an idler gear and a drive shaft. The system further includes a front end plate that is coupled to a first surface of the gear housing and a rear end plate that is coupled to a second, different surface of the gear housing. Also coupled to the gear housing is a first and second Halbach magnet arrays that is disposed between the front end plate and the rear end plate. The first and second Halbach magnet arrays include one or more solenoids and the first Halbach magnet array is disposed proximate to the drive gear and the second Halbach magnet array is disposed proximate to the idler gear.
Tolerance independent crescent internal gear pump
A crescent internal gear pump includes a front cover, an end cover, a ring gear and a pinion gear disposed within a gear housing in an eccentric, intermeshing relationship. The housing is disposed intermediate the front cover and the end cover. A crescent is disposed radially intermediate the ring gear and the pinion gear. The crescent partially extends into a correspondingly shaped slot in the end cover. The gear housing, the ring gear, and the pinion gear can have substantially the same thickness. A shim can be disposed intermediate the end cover and the gear housing for establishing a desired clearance therebetween.
Scroll compressor having a valve assembly controlling the opening/closing valve to open and close communication passage and bypass holes on fixed scroll
A scroll compressor according to the present invention includes a casing, an orbiting member provided within the casing and performing an orbiting motion, a non-orbiting member forming a compression chamber together with the orbiting member, the compression chamber having a suction chamber, an intermediate pressure chamber and a discharge chamber, a communication passage configured to bypass a refrigerant of the compression chamber into the casing, an opening/closing valve assembly configured to open and close the communication passage, and a switching valve assembly configured to operate the opening/closing valve assembly, the switching valve assembly being provided outside the casing and connected to the opening/closing valve assembly, whereby an installation of the bypass hole can result in prevention of over-compression and an installation of a control valve for varying a capacity outside the casing can result in reduction of costs for the control valve.
Automotive liquid pendulum vane pump
An automotive liquid pendulum vane pump includes a pump housing, a rotor ring with circular undercut recesses, a rotor hub with vane slots, and pendulum vanes which connect the rotor ring and the rotor hub. Each vane slot has a substantially plane contact wall slot with a tangential contact nose in an opening region and a diving recess. Each pendulum vane has a circular pendulum head which defines a pendulum hinge which corresponds to a circular undercut recess, a circular pendulum foot which is radially shiftable and pivotable in a vane slot, a vane leg which connects the circular pendulum head and the circular pendulum foot, and a contact path with a contact path surface which contacts the tangential contact nose in a rotational contact sector. A radial inner end of the contact path surface defines an inner tangential projection which temporarily dives into the diving recess.
