An insert of a cartridge for use with a liquid diffusing device is provided. The insert includes a body, an inlet provided in the body to receive diffused liquid generated within the cartridge during operation of the liquid diffusing device, an outlet zone defined at least in part by the body through which to discharge the diffused liquid toward an external environment, and a tortuous passage extending between the inlet and the outlet zone to aid in further reducing an average particle size of the diffused liquid as the diffused liquid moves through the tortuous passage. Removable cartridges for use with a diffusion device are also provided which include such an insert.
Manifold including mounting plate for fluid end block of reciprocating pump assembly
In one aspect, a fluid end portion of a reciprocating pump assembly includes a fluid end block and an inlet manifold connected thereto. The manifold includes an opening formed therethrough and including a slot portion to facilitate the connection between the inlet manifold and the fluid end block. In another aspect, a method of connecting an inlet manifold to a fluid end block includes inserting fasteners into respective openings in the fluid end block, and effecting relative movement between the inlet manifold and the fluid end block so that the fasteners pass within respective slot portions formed through a mounting plate of the inlet manifold. In yet another aspect, a manifold is adapted to be connected to a fluid end block and includes an elongated member and a mounting plate connected thereto. The mounting plate includes openings formed therethrough, the openings including respective slot portions spaced in a parallel relation.
Lubricating oil supply apparatus and compressor using lubricating oil supply apparatus
A lubricating oil supply apparatus may include a rotational portion that rotates together with a rotational shaft and a fixed portion that maintains a fixed location thereof and supplies oil through a space that circles with respect to a rotational center of the rotational portion, thereby supplying oil regardless of a rotational direction of the rotational shaft.
PISTON COMPRESSOR AND REFRIGERATION SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME
A compressor and a refrigeration system having the same are provided. The compressor includes a crankcase, a thrust bearing and a crankshaft. The crankcase is formed with a crankshaft hole therein and provided with a mounting protrusion at an upper end thereof. The crankshaft hole runs upward through the mounting protrusion. The thrust bearing is fitted over the mounting protrusion. The crankshaft is rotatably disposed within the crankshaft hole, has a thrust part, and is formed with an oil supply passage therein. A lower end face of the thrust part is abutted against an upper end face of the thrust bearing. A cavity is defined by the mounting protrusion, the thrust bearing and the thrust part. A through hole is formed in a peripheral wall of the crankshaft for communicating the oil supply passage with the cavity.
Piston/cylinder unit
A piston-cylinder unit including a piston that is fluid pressure supported and movable in a linear manner in a cylinder, wherein the cylinder, a face wall of the piston and a face wall of the cylinder define a compression cavity which is at a minimum size in a portion of a top dead center of the piston, wherein the compression cavity is connected in a fluid transferring manner with a bearing gap which is formed between a cylinder inner circumferential wall and a piston outer circumferential wall, wherein a plurality of fluid outlet nozzles are arranged in at least one cross-sectional plane of the cylinder in the cylinder inner circumferential wall along a circumference, which fluid outlet nozzles open into the bearing gap and are connected with a supply conduit for a pressurized fluid.
Linear compressor
A linear compressor is provided. The linear compressor includes a piston slidably received within a chamber of a cylinder assembly and a mover positioned in a driving coil. The linear compressor also includes features for coupling the piston to the mover such that motion of the mover is transferred to the piston during operation of the driving coil and for reducing friction between the piston and the cylinder during motion of the piston within the chamber of the cylinder.
