ANCHOR ASSEMBLY FOR FASTENER
20190093689 · 2019-03-28 ·

An anchor assembly for walls comprises a toggle member and a strap member pivotally mounted together, and a locking member. In a first position thereof, the toggle member is aligned with the strap member for insertion through the wall, whereas in a second position thereof, the toggle member extends behind the wall at an angle relative to the strap member which extends from the toggle member through the hole in the wall. The locking member is adapted to be displaced along the strap member until it engages the wall and to he locked on the strap member to prevent the locking member from displacing away from the toggle member. Therefore, the locking member and the toggle member are connected by the strap member and imprison the wall by abutting respectively the visible and hidden sides thereof. A fastener introduced through the locking member and the wall threadably engages an opening defined in the toggle member.

Fastening assembly

A fastening assembly includes a mounting cylinder frame, a movable part and a turnover part, the mounting cylinder frame is provided with a first vertical beam and a transmission rod, the mounting cylinder is provided with a butting block at the top of the first vertical beam, the transmission rod passes through the butting block, the side wall of the first vertical beam is provided with a bulge, the movable part is connected with the transmission rod, and the turnover part is arranged on the first vertical beam and rotationally connected with the movable part. The turnover part is butted with the bulge, the turnover part is located between the butting block and the movable part, and has a vertical state and a horizontal state. The transmission rod is used to drive the turnover part to switch between the horizontal state or the vertical state.

A fastening system having differentiable components includes a first bushing with a first mating feature to be inserted within a first receiver. A first fuse pin with a second mating figure and being configured to shear upon the application of a first predetermined load is configured to be inserted into the first receiver and mate with the first mating feature of the first bushing. The first and second mating features correspond and permit the insertion of the first fuse pin into the first bushing within the first receiver to selectively connect components. The first bushing may prevent the complete insertion of a second fuse pin having a third mating feature into the first receiver. A second bushing having a fourth mating feature may permit the complete insertion of the second fuse pin into the second bushing positioned within a second receiver.

A system for mounting an anchor into a concrete structure that includes: an adaptor, where the adaptor includes a bit; a bit stem at a first end of the bit; a socket at a second end of the bit, where the socket is adapted to receive an anchor; and a retaining hole within the socket to retain the socket on the bit. The socket includes an opening to receive the anchor, wherein the anchor include a plurality of openings and a stem extending from a first end.

Stripped Hole Repair Device

Current stripped hole repair devices operate by expanding to exert pressure against the inside of a hole into which the device is placed, and are by design suitable only for repairing a stripped or damaged hole in alignment with the original hole. Likewise, various methods exist that do not result in a smooth surface into which a new hole can be drilled. In most cases, these methods are non-permanent, temporary, non-weight-bearing devices that inadequately address the problem. The solution provided comprises a solid plastic insert with segments that break off at a desired length, into which a new hole may be drilled and a screw inserted. The method for installing the apparatus utilizes an adhesive that bonds to the medium into which it is installed. The disclosure describes a simplified and practical method to repair a stripped screw hole, and an apparatus that can be manufactured and made commercially available.
