Washer with shear tube
A fastener system is provided that attaches a connector or other upper member to a lower structural member such as a post or beam. The improved fastener consists of a fastener having an extending shank that is driven into a lower structural member and the fastener is received by a washer that also has an extending tube, and the extending tube of the washer is received by the connector or upper member and is also, preferably received in the structural member.
MALE SCREW BODY, FEMALE SCREW BODY, SCREW BODY DESIGN METHOD, SCREW THREAD STRUCTURE
A male screw body comprises a shaft part, a first spiral groove that is formed in a circumferential surface of the shaft part and that is set at an appropriate lead angle and/or lead direction, and a second spiral groove that is set at a lead angle and/or lead direction that is different from the lead angle and/or lead direction of the first spiral groove, wherein the thread angle formed by a pair of inclined surfaces that extend from the apex to the valley of a screw thread that is created as a result of the first spiral groove and the second spiral groove being formed to overlap is established at 61-75. It is thus made possible for a male screw body to have two types of overlapping spiral grooves with different lead angles and/or lead directions to retain high fastening force.

Housing of active element and manufacturing method thereof
A housing of an active component, which is used to install an active source, includes a main portion and at least two fixing portions. The main portion has side walls. The active source is installed on the main portion. The Young's modulus of the material making the fixing portion is different from the Young's modulus of the material making the main portion. The fixing portion is formed with fixing holes, and is connected to the side wall of the main portion. It therefore provides better effects of shock proofing and shock isolation without unnecessary noise, and prevents a fixing element fixing the active component from being loosened, with enhanced stability of the active component. The present invention also provides a manufacturing method for housing of the active component.
Black coupling member for vehicles, having excellent corrosion resistance and black appearance
Provided is a black coupling member for vehicles, comprising a trivalent chromium black chemical conversion film and a black coating film upon the trivalent chromium black chemical conversion film, on the surface of a zinc-plated metal substrate. The trivalent chromium black chemical conversion film is formed using a hexavalent chromium-free trivalent chromium black chemical conversion treatment solution having a Zn ion concentration of no more than 20 g/L. The lightness (L) of the trivalent chromium black chemical conversion film is no more than 33. The black coating film includes a black chemical conversion component, a modified organopolysiloxane, and a friction coefficient-adjustment component. The black chemical conversion component content is 2-25 wt % relative to 100 wt % of the black coating film. The lightness (L) is no more than 28.

Locking mechanism and method for an electro-pneumatic controller
An electro-pneumatic controller for use with a regulator. The electro-pneumatic controller includes a base having a body, a top surface, and a bore formed within the body. A locking mechanism is disposed within the bore of the body of the base, the locking mechanism having a top surface flush with the top surface of the base. A cover is coupled to the base and includes an open end with a rim, the rim contacting the top surface of the base and a portion of the top surface of the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is rotated via a tool in a counter-clockwise direction after the cover contacts a portion of the top surface of the locking mechanism to lock the cover to the base.
MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF ENGINE MOUNT
A frame-side pin hole is provided in an inner face which is a vertical face of a front side frame that is a part of a vehicle frame and in contact with a bracket face of an engine mount. An engine mount-side pin hole is provided in the bracket face which is a vertical face of the engine mount and in contact with the front side frame (inner face). Additionally, a displacement suppressing pin is inserted through the frame-side pin hole and the engine mount-side pin hole.
SCREW INSERT AND TOOL FOR USE WITH SCREW INSERT
A screw insert has a a body configured to engage a threaded fastener and transmit a torque to the threaded fastener, a separable head connected to the body and a neck extending between body and the separable head. The neck is configured to break causing the separable head to separate from the body in response to a torque applied to the separable head exceeding a predetermined value.
Drilling screw
A self-drilling screw composed of an austenitic or some other non-corrosive base material (1) is provided, having a shank (12), having a cutting or shaping drilling or threaded tip (16) arranged at one shank end and having a hard coating (3) applied at least to the drilling or threaded tip (16) by electrodeposition, this hard coating (3) having a layer containing a transition metal, for example a hard chromium layer. The shank (12) has a hard edge layer (2) at least under the hard coating (3). A topcoat (4) composed of a lubricating and heat-dissipating material, which preferably is metal, wax and/or lacquer, is applied to the hard coating (3).
