Also, the body portion or the fastening body combines with an assisting pickup unit, and the fastener structure is provided on the plate body for soldering after it is picked up by a tool through the assisting pickup unit so that the body portion can combine with the plate body.

Fastener cover for captive effect

A hollow cover is provided for retaining a fastener captive on a removable part. The cover has an internal surface tapering from a first open end to a second open end. The first open end is sized to permit positioning of the fastener inside the hollow cover. The second open end is sized to block passage of the fastener. The second open end defining a tool opening configured to receive a tool for engagement with the fastener inside the hollow cover.

Security mounting bracket device for a crossbar
11400865 · 2022-08-02 ·

Provided herein is a security mounting bracket device that can be used to securely connect a crossbar to a mounted object. The device is shaped to form a contoured fit with the crossbar and adapted for use with a security nut and bolt rendering both nut and bolt unexposed outside of the device and inaccessible to tools that may be used to forcibly remove the mounted object. The security mounting bracket device can be used as an antitheft device as a security socket is required to remove the nut form the security mounting bracket. The contoured fit reduces the movement of the crossbar within the security mounting bracket device therefore reducing vibrationally induced failure of the mount and loss of mounted object. The security mounting bracket device smooth edges and unexposed nut and bolt also make it a safer bracket for the user in assembly. The size and contour of the security mounting bracket device can be customized to connect any shape of a crossbar to a mounted object such as a guide rail attached to a platform or to a platform directly. The crossbar can be mounted perpendicularly or at other angles, to the security mounting bracket device or and can be used to connect a plurality of mounted objects for example platforms for tents or cargo containers.

COMBINATION NUT ASSEMBLY CAPABLE OF PREVENTING LOOSENING THEREOF
20220243758 · 2022-08-04 ·

A combination nut assembly includes first and second tightening nuts, each engageable with a bolt and having an interior frustum-shaped fitting socket and a dual frustoconical locking nut engageable with the bolt and elastically deformable and consists of two exterior frustum-shaped half locking nut members identical in geometric configuration and symmetrically inverted in position integrally connected together as a single part with their larger ends jointly connected and located between the first and second tightening nuts when assembled. Each half locking nut member protrudes an axial distance “e” from a bearing surface of the tightening nut in an assembled position. Axial distance “e” is defined by p>e≥α/tan θ, where: “θ” is cone generating angle; “α” is perpendicular backlash between flanks of threads of the bolt and locking nut in an ordinarily engaged position; and “p” is locking nut pitch.

FASTENER ASSEMBLY
20220275824 · 2022-09-01 ·

A fastener assembly having a novel capture feature, or features, integrated within a unique and a newly defined portion of the fastener which protrudes from the working surface is provided. The fastener assembly comprises a bolt and a circular clip. The bolt comprises a threaded shank having a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis; a head section continuous with the shank, the head section comprising a head; a washer portion; and a groove integrally formed between the head and the washer portion. The circular clip is configured to be received within the groove of the head section.

CAPTIVE FASTENER
20220282752 · 2022-09-08 ·

A captive fastener having multiple components selectively biased to improve durability, including a primary body, an actuator, a plurality of locking pins, a biasing system, a bushing, and an actuator biasing member. Application of a predetermined force to an actuator proximal end longitudinally displaces the actuator from an actuator first position to an actuator second position and forces a cam leading edge against a biasing member to retract a pin from an extended position to a retracted position that does not interfere with a thread pattern formed in the fastener. The actuator biasing member returns the actuator to the actuator first position upon removal of the predetermined force allowing the biasing member to bias the pin away from the retracted position.

Toilet bolt caps

The present invention relates to a toilet bolt cap that has a unique structure which is over twice the size of generally available nuts. This nut ensures better holding power to the toilet seats thus maintain the effectiveness of toilet bolt caps over longer period of time.

EYE BOLT ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF INSTALLING THE SAME

An eye-bolt assembly includes an eye bolt and a base portion. The eye bolt includes a ring portion, a stem portion, and at least one winged extension. The ring portion is attached a first end of the stem portion. The at least one winged extension is attached to a second end of the stem portion. The base portion receives and securely locks the eye bolt therein. The base portion includes a collar and a platform secured to the collar. The collar forms a first aperture therein. The platform forms a second aperture therein. The platform includes a spring being located at least partially within the second aperture. A first end of the spring is attached to the platform. The second aperture formed in the platform is in spaced communication with the first aperture formed in the collar.

ANTI-VIBRATION ANTI-LOOSENING THREADED FASTENER
20220290715 · 2022-09-15 ·

An anti-vibration anti-loosening threaded fastener is revealed. The threaded fastener includes a bolt and a nut. The bolt consists of a head, a stud disposed on a bottom surface of the head, and a through hole mounted axially in the stud. The nut is composed of a threaded slotted portion provided with an opening facing upward and fastened to the stud by threaded connection, and a post protruding from central area of a bottom of the threaded slotted portion. The post and the through hole are disposed eccentrically to each other so that forces that pull the bolt and the nut together are generated when the bolt and the nut are threaded and fastened with each other and the post is mounted into the through hole. Thereby the bolt and the nut are fastened more tightly and the threaded fastener is vibration resistant and anti-loosening.
