A seawater suction system (10) is provided comprising first and second conduits (12, 14) connected to one another so as to form an internal fluid passage allowing fluid communication between the two conduits (12, 14), wherein the first conduit (12) is formed from at least two layers of a first material and the second conduit (14) is formed from a single layer of a second material which is different from the first material.

Coupling for connecting air circuit portions of avionics rack

A coupling is disclosed providing fluidic continuity between first and second orifices of two portions of an air circuit which includes a flexible sleeve, a first frame connected in fluid-tight manner to a first end of the flexible sleeve and having a first opening, and a second frame, connected in fluid-tight manner to a second end of the flexible sleeve and having a second opening. The coupling is deformable so that the flexible sleeve may adapt to the variable spacing between two avionics racks and is able to compensate for a misalignment between the orifices of two portions of an air circuit.

Coupling system

A coupling system provides a media-conducting connection of two hose-shaped sections (10, 12). Each section has one coupling element (16, 18), with two coupling parts (20, 22) that can be separated from each other and that are detachably held to each other by closure elements (24) along a disconnecting point (26). The closure parts of one coupling element can be engaged with correspondingly designed closure elements (24) of the other coupling element (20, 22) to form the transport section. All closure elements (24) of the coupling parts (20, 22) point hose-inward, at least before forming the transport section. Upon producing the transport section, the respective disconnecting point (26) is arranged between the coupling elements (16, 18), transversely to the transport section.

Threaded connection for drilling and working hydrocarbon wells

A threaded connection including first and second tubular components, each including a respective male and female end, the male end includes at least one threaded zone on its external peripheral surface and ending in a terminal surface, the female end includes at least one threaded zone on its internal peripheral surface and ending in a terminal surface, the threaded zones including, over at least a portion of their length, threads each including, viewed in longitudinal section passing through the axis of the tubular component, a thread crest, a thread root, a load flank, and a stabbing flank. Profiles of the male and female load flanks, viewed in longitudinal section passing through the axis of revolution of the connection, are a continuous curve with a convex or concave form, the profile of the male flanks being complementary to that of the female flanks over at least 70% of the continuous curve.

Preassembled media line

A preassembled line for axial engagement with a mating coupling part. The preassembled line includes a line connector having of a connector body with a connecting portion to which a media line is connected and also includes a coupling portion with sealing means for sealing relative to the mating coupling part. The media line is provided with a heating wire arranged on the coupling portion. The connector body, the media line and the heating wire being surrounded at one end by a housing that has a latching part for connecting with the mating coupling part. The latching part is formed on the housing portion surrounding the coupling portion. Sealing of the preassembled media line to the mating coupling part is separated from connecting of the preassembled media line to the mating coupling part and separately performed by the connector body and the housing.
