Connectors for a windscreen wiper of a vehicle

Electrical, hydraulic and mechanical connectors for a windscreen wiper of a vehicle are disclosed. The electrical connector includes a body bearing electrical plugs and detachable fixing means which are configured to cooperate with the mechanical connector. The hydraulic connector does not comprise such means and is fixed to the mechanical connector solely by the interlocking of its small tubes in the mechanical connector. The mechanical connector comprises two substantially parallel tabs having at their free ends notches for the fixing means of the electrical connector to be resiliently clipped thereto.

Conduit gripping device having retaining structure for conduit fitting

The disclosure presents exemplary embodiments of a cartridge nut concept for conduit fittings. The cartridge nut concept may include the feature of loosely retaining one or more conduit gripping devices with a fitting component such as a male or female threaded nut. The cartridge nut concept may be realized using one or more geometry or shape features or characteristics of one or more conduit gripping devices. Still further, the cartridge nut concept may be realized in combination with a ferrule cartridge concept.

Hose coupler for transferring fluids from a machine

A hose coupler includes a coupler body. The coupler body may extend from a proximal end to a distal end. The hose coupler may have a coupler bore extending through a length of the coupler body. The hose coupler may also have a flange disposed adjacent the distal end. The flange may project radially from the coupler body. The hose coupler may have a pair of tabs. The tabs may extend from the flange towards the proximal end of the coupler body.

Extensible hose and hose assembly

An extensible hose, comprising an inner tubular element (2) suitable, in use, for being passed through by a fluid, said inner tubular element (2) being made from a first elastically extensible material and suitable for lengthening and widening under the action of the pressure of the fluid. The hose (1) also comprises at least one extensible outer tubular element (3) overlying, and coaxial to, said inner tubular element (2), comprising at least one surface portion (4) made from a second material resistant to external stresses, and the like.

GARDEN HOSE WITH METAL SHEATH

A garden hose with an outer flexible sheath of spirally wound and linked turns of sheet material, an inner tube of flexible polymer inside the sheath and end couplers with nipples press fit into ends of the tube and connector mechanisms connecting the couplers to the outer sheath. Each connector mechanism has inner and outer press fit shells at the end of the sheath, with flared ends separated by a washer.

Hose Clamp for Preventing Leaks

A hose clamp to be used with high-pressure hoses consists of a first clamping plate, a second clamping plate, and a fastening mechanism. The first clamping plate and the second clamping plate are positioned around the high-pressure hose and removably attached together with the fastening mechanism. When positioned appropriately, the high-pressure hose is placed within a receiving channel of the first clamping plate and a receiving channel of the second clamping plate. An inner rubber coating is used to further secure the high-pressure hose within the receiving channel of the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate. To do so, the inner rubber coating is layered along the receiving channel of the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate.

THERMALLY ADAPTIVE PIPE CONNECTORS
20240271727 · 2024-08-15 ·

A pipe connector includes a connecting structure configured to secure a first section of hose, pipe, or tube to an adjacent second section of hose, pipe, or tube positioned adjacent to the first section at a joint between the first section and the second section. The connecting structure includes at least one segment of a thermally adaptive material. The at least segment is configured to undergo a shape change as a result of thermal cycling such the shape change causes the connecting structure to form a leak-free seal between the first section and the second section at the joint.

Sealing arrangement, sealing sleeve and use thereof

A connector is provided for holding a deformable tube, and includes a connection head, an inner portion extending from the head, an outer portion extending from the head and at least partially surrounding the inner portion to define a tube entry passage, the entry passage has a constricting area of lesser width than the width of the tube wall, and the outer and inner portions move relative to each other to allow entry of the tube past the constricting area and further into the passage, after insertion of the tube past the constricting area, and on application of a translational force to the tube, the outer and inner portions are configured to bear further against the elastically deformable tube such that the tube is held between the inner and the outer portions. At least one of the outer portion and the inner portion is at least partially helical in construction.
