SHROUDED PIPE
A shrouded pipe formed from inner and outer pipe sections, the inner pipe section having an outwardly projecting flange joining the outer pipe section, and the outer pipe section having an inwardly projecting flange joining the inner pipe section, an annular volume between the inner and outer pipe sections providing a secondary fluid path. The flanges control axial position of the inner pipe section. By providing one flange which extends radially outwardly and one which extends radially inwardly, assembly is possible of the shrouded pipe by inserting the inner pipe section into the outer pipe section, without modification of the outer pipe section or inner pipe section. The first and second flanges ensure no unwanted contact between the inner and outer pipe sections, and therefore to prevent damage to the primary fluid path. The first and second flanges ensure good load distribution between the inner and outer pipe sections.
Swivel knuckle connection
A swivel knuckle assembly for interconnecting a motor and a supply line. The knuckle assembly may include a bearing member to reduce a coefficient of friction. A locking mechanism is disclosed to connect members of the knuckle assembly.
Connecting device for connecting a gas sensor
Disclosed is a connecting device for connecting a gas sensor to a gas leak detector. The gas sensor includes an elongate sensor housing. The gas leak detector includes at least one gas connector adapted to be connected to the gas sensor. A guide rail connects to the gas leak detector, engaging with the sensor housing such that the gas connectors engage with at least one complementary second gas connector. A fastening claw includes two elastic spring legs arranged at one of the sensor housing and the gas leak detector. Each of the two spring legs includes a latching boss engaging the frontal end of the gas sensor opposite the second gas connector and a spreading element having two retaining arms. Each retaining arm includes a pulling edge, an inclined insertion portion along which the latching boss grips and pivots the spring leg, and an inclined disengagement portion.
Coupling formation of a pipetting channel of a pipetting device for coupling of a pipette tip thereto
The present invention relates to a coupling formation of a pipetting channel of a pipetting device for coupling of an implement, for instance a pipette tip, or a laboratory instrument, laboratory tool or the like, thereto, wherein the coupling formation surrounds a pipetting channel section which extends along a pipetting channel axis which defines an axial direction, wherein the coupling formation additionally has, at its free longitudinal end, a pressure-imparting orifice into which the pipetting channel section opens and has, at its radially outer surface which surrounds the pipetting channel axis and extends principally in axial direction and in peripheral direction about the pipetting channel axis relative to the pipetting channel axis, a coupling projection which yields in the radial direction, which is characterized in that the coupling projection is provided so as to be essentially undeformable but radially movable on a spring arrangement which is elastic in radial direction.
Manifold solenoid valve
An object of the present invention is to improve assembling workability of the flow passage block and the sealability between the manifold solenoid valve and the flow passage block. A flow passage block 61 is mounted on a manifold solenoid valve having valve bases 12 on which solenoid valves 11 are respectively mounted, a block mounting face 60 is formed by the valve bases 12, an output joint 36 protrudes from each valve base, a joint seal member 71 is detachably mounted on the output joint 36, with the flow passage block 61 being mounted on the block mounting face 60, the joint seal member 71 seals between an outer peripheral surface of an output joint 36 and an inner peripheral surface of an connecting hole 64 which communicates with an air passage of the flow passage block 61.
Bonding clip for fluid conduit coupling
A bonding clip is provided in combination with a fluid conduit coupling that interconnects fluid conveying members. The bonding clip conducts electrical charge across the coupling to prevent buildup of electrostatic charges in the coupling. In one aspect of the invention, it may be considered a bonding clip. In another aspect, it may be considered the combination including the bonding clip and coupler. The invention also includes a method for dissipating electrostatic charge across a coupling used to interconnect fluid conveying members. In a preferred embodiment of the bonding clip, it includes a continuous flexible wire element mounted exteriorly of the coupling. The bonding clip is formed in a shape to connect the facing flanges of adjacent fluid conveying lines connected by the coupler, and to pass over the coupler with a defined gap separating a bridge portion of the clip from exterior surfaces of the coupler.
Exhaust Tube Holding Member and Exhaust Structure for Combustion
An exhaust tube holding member is supported by an exhaust pipe and holds, on an inner peripheral surface thereof, an exhaust tube to be inserted into the exhaust pipe. The exhaust tube holding member includes a first annular portion, a second annular portion, and an outward protruding portion. The first annular portion is formed with a first through hole. The second annular portion is formed with a second through hole in communication with the first through hole and having an inner diameter larger than that of the first through hole, and is connected to the first annular portion. The outward protruding portion protrudes peripherally outward from an outer peripheral surface of the second annular portion and is supported by the exhaust pipe. The inward protruding portion protrudes peripherally inward from an inner peripheral surface of the second annular portion and is supported by the exhaust pipe.
Swivel Knuckle Connection
A swivel knuckle assembly for interconnecting a motor and a supply line. The knuckle assembly may include a bearing member to reduce a coefficient of friction. A locking mechanism is disclosed to connect members of the knuckle assembly.
