Disclosed are a lamp adapter including a shell and a polar socket component for splicing and electrically connecting two adjacent lamps. The polar socket component is disposed in the shell, and a male head and a female head of the polar socket component are positioned on a first side of the shell and a second side of the shell, respectively; the first side and the second side are positioned on two sides in an X-axis direction or two sides in a Y-axis direction of the shell. According to the present invention, two adjacent lamps are electrically connected with neat appearance, improved safety, and a stable structure.

The functional subassemblies include at least the first light source subassembly and the control power supply, provided inside the mounting cavity, the control power supply controls the first light source subassembly to emit UV rays for sterilization and disinfection. This can simplify the protective structure of the light, reduce the volume of the light, and improve a sealing property of the light.

A plant illumination device may include an elongate body comprising: a light propagating section, a light quenching section coupled to a first end of the light propagating section, and, optionally, a light conducting apex coupled to a second end of the light propagating section. In some embodiments, the light conducting apex acquires light which propagates to the light propagating section. The light propagating section may be positioned in proximity to a non-root portion of a plant and the light quenching section in proximity to a root system of the plant. In some embodiments, the light is prevented from reaching the root system of the plant by the light quenching section. In some embodiments, the light includes sunlight, green light, or red light.
