A quick-disconnect (QD) sling swivel includes a main body receivable in a socket on a firearm, a locking mechanism coupled to the main body, and an actuation mechanism coupled to the locking mechanism and depressible in a direction generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the QD sling swivel. When the actuation mechanism is depressed, the locking mechanism is in a first position such that the main body is decouplable from and is freely movable in and out of the socket. When the at least one actuation button is not depressed with a portion of the main body received in the socket, the locking mechanism is in a second position such that the main body is interlockingly received in the socket with the locking mechanism engaged therewith.

The present invention is a rifle sling for use with a rifle having butt and barrel portions. The rifle sling comprises a one-piece leather strap comprising a central longitudinal axis, a fixed end portion, and a sliding end portion. The sliding end portion comprises a slit that is parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the strap. The sliding end portion being folded to form first and twisted second loops with the first loop passing thru the second loop to form a sliding knot. The fixed end portion comprises first and second slits parallel to the central longitudinal axis and aligned with each other. The fixed end portion being folded to form a loop that is passed thru the first and second slits to form a fixed knot. Unlike conventional rifle slings, the rifle sling of the present invention does not employ any hardware.

Sling sliders have a body defining an elongated sling strap passage configured to receive an elongated sling strap, the elongated sling strap passage defined at least in part by an elongated bar having opposed ends, the elongated bar defining an elongated cord passage extending between the opposed ends of the elongated bar, a cord received in the elongated cord passage, and the cord having a received portion within the elongated cord passage and a handle portion extending outside the elongated cord passage such that the handle portion operates to exert a motive force on the body. The sling slider may be a triglide. The body may have three parallel bars, and the elongated bar defining the elongated cord passage may be positioned between a second bar and a third bar. The body may define a pair of elongated sling strap passages on opposite sides of the elongated bar.

The sling slider may be a triglide. The body may have three parallel bars, and the elongated bar defining the elongated cord passage may be positioned between a second bar and a third bar. The body may define a pair of elongated sling strap passages on opposite sides of the elongated bar.

The disclosure includes an apparatus and method for using a sling. The sling includes a lanyard portion and a magnetic retainer portion.

A pistol chassis is disclosed which may include a lower housing, an upper housing, a proximal enclosure, a distal sleeve, and a proximal accessory. The distal sleeve, lower housing, and upper housing may be secured together to form a tubular member for receiving a pistol. The lower housing further may include a distal segment, a proximal segment and an intermediate segment. The distal segment may include a pistol frame receptacle and a trigger guard enclosure. The proximal accessory may be a folding stock. The pistol chassis may house a pistol to produce a firearm apparatus.

Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a rapid adjust buckle for a rifle sling. The buckle can include a main buckle portion with a pair of side portions and a handle portion extending between the pair of side portions and over the main buckle portion to define a handle aperture. In various embodiments the handle portion and the main buckle portion are a unitary piece composed of a polymer material with the handle portion being flexibly biased towards an uncompressed open shape such that the handle portion is configured to compress against the main buckle portion in response to a compressing force but return to the uncompressed open shape when the compressing force is relieved. In one or more embodiments the handle portion includes a plurality of jointed connection points configured to flatten the profile of the handle portion when the handle portion is exposed to the compressing force.

The invention concerns a gun sling, gun equipment set, and methods of carrying a gun. The sling comprising a strap, a first buckle through which the strap passes so as to form a first length-adjustable loop, a second buckle through which the strap passes so as to form a second length-adjustable loop, a first gun attachment swivel arranged to the first loop, and a second gun attachment swivel arranged to the second loop. According to the invention, the strap is unitary and the first and second gun attachment swivels are capable of freely running along the first and second loops, respectively. The invention allows for versatile carry methods of rifle-type guns.

A sling keeper for securing a sling to a firearm during storage or transport of the firearm. The sling keeper comprises a first strap and a second strap. The first strap includes a length defined by a first end and a second end, and a length. The first strap may include a first securing mechanism disposed proximate the first end and a second securing mechanism disposed proximate the second end. The first securing mechanism is mate-able with the second securing mechanism. The second strap has a first end coupled to the first strap between the first end and the second end of the first. The second strap has a second end, and a third securing mechanism disposed proximate the second end. The second strap or the first strap may include at least a fourth securing mechanism, wherein the fourth securing mechanism is mate-able with the third securing mechanism.
