SOAKER SINKS AND FLUID DISTRIBUTION ASSEMBLIES
An example soaker sink may include a sink basin that receives wash items therein and defines an inlet opening. The soaker sink may further include a manifold that defines an inlet opening, an interior that receives a fluid flow input via the inlet opening, and a plurality of outlets. The outlets may permit discharge of fluid from the interior of the manifold to the sink basin and may include at least a first outlet and may further include a common outlet dimension. The soaker sink may further include a pump fluidically coupled with the inlet opening of the sink basin and the inlet opening of the manifold to recirculate fluid from the sink basin to the manifold. A flow restrictor may be removably coupled with the first outlet and may be configured to modify a flow rate of the fluid discharged via the first outlet.
Wash system for washing appliance
A washing machine such as a dishwashing machine, preferably of the drawer-style or table-top style, or a laundry washing machine, the washing machine having at least one low-height wash liquid conduit connecting the outlet of a sump region of a washing tub to a wash pump. A cover plate is provided for covering a section of the washing tub base and the at least one low-height conduit is formed between the base of the washing tub and the cover plate by a combination thereof. The surface of a heating unit forms a surface of the low-height conduit and the sump is provided with multiple outlets.
Blade and pump impeller assembly for a dishwasher
An impeller for a pump for a dishwasher having a base with an axis of rotation, and at least one fin protruding from the base. The impeller also has a cap removably coupled to the impeller and at least one blade integrally formed with the cap.
Silverware, flatware or parts washer apparatus and method thereof
An apparatus and a method of washing (or pre-washing) silverware/flatware, or one or more other objects/parts is provided. The apparatus and method utilizes a fluid-push/pull pumping system and method in which generally an entire volume of fluid is pushed or pulled through a cavity of a housing in which the silverware/flatware or other objects/parts are located. The housing is configured to hold a mass of silverware or other item(s) within the cavity. The pumping system is configured to pump generally an entire volume of fluid is out of the cavity, and to direct the pumped fluid back into the cavity to create a generally continuous flow of generally an entire volume of fluid through the cavity, thereby causing the fluid to flow through the mass of silverware or other item(s).
SYSTEM COMPRISING A DISHWASHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER
A system includes a dishwasher, an image capturing device designed to capture an image of washware arranged in the washing chamber, with the image including a plurality of sub-images, each of which having different spectral information of the washware. An illumination unit illuminates the washware in the washing chamber, and an image analysis unit receives the captured image from the image capturing device and to carry out a chemical analysis of soiling on the washware based on the plurality of sub-images of the received image and to ascertain a dirt characteristic of soiling as a result of the chemical analysis. A control device carries out a washing program for washing the washware in the washing chamber. The control device receives the dirt characteristic from the image analysis unit and adapts the washing program for washing the washware as a function of the received dirt characteristic.
DISHWASHER COMPRISING A SPRAY ARM ARRANGEMENT
A dishwasher may include a spray arm arrangement and a washing chamber. The spray arm arrangement may include a spray arm arranged to rotate around a first axis of rotation within said washing chamber. The spray arm may be provided with one or more spray nozzles arranged to spray washing liquid into said washing chamber. The dishwasher may also include a mechanical switch for detecting an angular position of said spray arm. The spray arm arrangement may further include an activating device arranged to rotate with said spray arm, which activating device may include at least one activating structure arranged to cyclically activate said mechanical switch during rotation of said spray arm.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE WITH A CONDENSER
A laundry treating appliance comprising a combination washer/dryer having a cabinet defining an interior, a tub located within the interior with a first access opening, a rotatable drum located within the tub and having a rear wall defining a fan, a closure moveably mounted to the cabinet and selectively movable between open/closed positions to open/close at least one of the first and second access openings; an air recirculation conduit having an inlet fluidly coupled to a first portion of the treating chamber and an outlet fluidly coupled to a second portion of the treating chamber, which is different than the first portion, and a condenser fluidly coupled to the recirculation conduit.
DISHWASHER WITH LIQUID STORAGE TANK
A dishwasher with a tub that defines a treatment chamber, a sump fluidly connected to the tub, sprayers within the treatment chamber, a drain pump fluidly connecting the sump to a discharge pipe, a water tank fluidly connected to the sump with a controllable valve, a softener, and a diverter valve fluidly connecting the sump and the sprayers.
Household appliance having a physical alteration element
A household appliance for treating at least one item according to at least one cycle of operation includes a treating chamber for receiving the at least one item for treatment according to the at least one cycle of operation, a treating chemistry dispenser receiving a unit dose container having an electrically conductive element, a physical alteration element located proximate to the treating chemistry dispenser and operable to physically alter at least a portion of the electrically conductive element and a sensor for sensing the physical alteration.
Method and system for reducing auto-dosing fluctuation of an automatic cleaning machine
A method for reducing auto-dosing fluctuation of a washing machine equipped with an automatic dosing device, by using a liquid detergent with a relatively low high-shear viscosity. A cleaning system including a washing machine equipped with an auto-dosing device, in combination with a liquid detergent characterized by a relative low high-shear viscosity.
