Segmentation of PWS-Message and Associated Area-Information
A network node obtains a message to be transmitted as a public warning system notification to multiple UEs, via one or more SIBs, and obtains area information corresponding to the message. The area information indicates an area for which the message is relevant. The network node determines how many SIBs are needed for transmitting the area information and segments the message into a plurality of segments, based on how many SIBs are needed for transmitting the area information. The network node transmits the message and the area information via SIBs, such that a segment of the message is included in each SIB and such that each portion of the area information included in a SIB is accompanied by a segment of the message. A UE receives the SIBs and assembles the message and area information, displaying the message if it is relevant.

A visual signaling system includes smart signage with a set of three or more lights visible from a single direction. Activation of the lights in a first pattern indicates a hazard and for individuals to move away from the sign. Activation of the lights in a second pattern indicates safety and for individuals to move toward the sign. Activation of the lights in a third pattern indicates a need for caution and for individuals to refrain from approaching the sign. The visual signaling system may include a plurality of smart signs which display different patterns on different signs depending on the location of each sign relative to the hazard, thereby guiding individuals away from the hazard.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ALZHEIMER?S DISEASE RISK QUANTIFICATION UTILIZING INTERFEROMETRIC MICRO - DOPPLER RADAR AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
A system and method for quantifying Alzheimer's disease (AD) risk using one or more interferometric micro-Doppler radars (IMDRs) and deep learning artificial intelligence to distinguish between cognitively unimpaired individuals and persons with AD based on gait analysis. The system utilizes IMDR to capture signals from both radial and transversal movement in three-dimensional space to further increase the accuracy for human gait estimation. New deep learning technologies are designed to complement traditional machine learning involving separate feature extraction followed-up with classification to process radar signature from different views including side, front, depth, limbs, and whole body where some motion patterns are not easily describable. The disclosed cross-talk deep model is the first to apply deep learning to learn IMDR signatures from two perpendicular directions jointly from both healthy and unhealthy individuals. Decision fusion is used to integrate classification results from feature-based classifier and deep learning AI to reach optimal decision.
INTEGRATIVE SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for monitoring and securing a facility without employing a manned control center, according to which a server acquires surveillance data from each of a plurality of distributed surveillance devices deployed within or adjacent to a given security sensitive facility. Then the server receives an intrusion alert from a guard, or from one or more of the plurality of surveillance devices to initiate a triggering event, if the acquired surveillance data is indicative of activity that has been detected at an indicated location. A first guard is alerted and presented with a full situational awareness image to assess the severity of the detected activity and the triggering event is terminated if found by the first guard to be of a low severity, or an interception operation initiated by self-dispatching or dispatching one or more additional guards to a close by location that holds tactical advantage relative to the indicated location if the triggering event was found by the first guard to be of a high severity.
Community-based response system
An example of a medical equipment and responder management system is configured to register potential responders to an emergency event, receive event information including an event location and an event type, provide an automatic notification that includes the event information and mapping information to first and second mobile computing devices associated with first responder and second responders selected from the potential responders, receive a confirmation that the first responder will bring a first item of registered medical equipment to the event, and provide an indication to the second mobile device that the second responder should proceed to the event without the first item of equipment, where the mapping information indicates a location of the first item of equipment located near a first mobile device current location and the current locations of the first and second mobile devices relative to the locations of the event and the first item of equipment.
DRONE BASED SECURITY AND DEFENSE SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure may include a method to augment pilot control of a drone, the method including receiving a planned flight route. Embodiments may also include receiving sensor information from an at least one environment sensor along the planned flight route. In some embodiments, the at least one environment sensor may be located at a predefined location. Embodiments may also include estimating a drone location from the sensor information. Embodiments may also include receiving a speed vector of the drone. Embodiments may also include comparing the drone location to an expected drone location along the planned flight route. Embodiments may also include deriving a flight control command and a speed vector command to return the drone to a point along the planned flight route.
SECURITY ECOSYSTEM
A system, method, and apparatus for implementing workflows across multiple differing systems and devices is provided herein. During operation, a workflow is automatically generated based upon a camera detecting denial of entry of an individual. The workflow can then be implemented or suggested as a newly-created workflow at other various entry points.
MANAGING EVENT NOTIFICATIONS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for identifying and managing event notifications. An event notification manager may determine whether the received data corresponds to an occurring or a false event. The event notification manager may cause one or more user devices to output an event notification by at least partially interrupting output of other content.
FIRE PANEL AUDIO INTERFACE
A fire alarm control panel (FACP) in a fire alarm system includes a processor in communication with a communications interface. The processor is configured to receive an event signal from an initiation device. The FACP also includes a display, controlled by the processor, indicating a status of the fire alarm system and configured to present a plurality of icons corresponding to a plurality of voice messages to be selectively played in response to receiving one or more event signals from the initiation device. The FACP further includes an embedded microphone mounted in the fire alarm control panel adjacent to the display. The FACP also includes a programmable microphone interface controlled by the processor, in communication with the embedded microphone utilized in response to receiving one or more event signals from the initiation device.
