System and method for managing content items for sharing across multiple sites
Systems and methods for managing content items of the type used in Web sites. In accordance with the disclosure, site objects, channel objects and content objects are associated with each other to form a hierarchical site structure. The content objects are linked to corresponding content items in a content repository, and are grouped together by association with channel objects in the site structure. Each of the objects in the site structure has an associated set of content services and can be deployed individually or in combination, while maintaining references to the related objects in the hierarchical site structure.
Network boot for Ethernet physical-layer devices
An Ethernet physical-layer (PHY) device includes an analog front-end and one or more processors. The analog front-end is configured to interface with an Ethernet link that is coupled to a peer Ethernet PHY device. The one or more processors are configured to receive a firmware image from the peer Ethernet PHY device over the Ethernet link, and to boot the Ethernet PHY device and establish Ethernet communication with the peer Ethernet PHY device in accordance with the received firmware image.
OPPORTUNISTIC MESH FOR SOFTWARE-DEFINED WIDE AREA NETWORK (SD-WAN)
Techniques are described for forming on-demand mesh connections between spoke routers of a Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) arranged in a hub-and-spoke topology. A first spoke router modifies the first packet to include metadata specifying first reachability information and first Internet Protocol (IP) address information for the first spoke router. The first spoke router forwards the first packet to a hub router for forwarding to a second spoke router. The first spoke router receives a second packet from the hub router that includes metadata specifying second reachability information and second IP address information for the second spoke router. In response to determining that the first reachability information is compatible with the second reachability information, the first spoke router initiates a peering connection with the second spoke router along a path which bypasses the hub router for forwarding subsequent packets of the forward packet flow.
Differentiated management and control of terminals with multiple operating systems
After a terminal receives any piece of control information sent by a management server, if the control information is used to indicate that a foreground operating system of the terminal is a target operating system, the terminal is controlled according to a control instruction carried in the control information. When the foreground operating system of the terminal is not the target operating system, the terminal does not control the terminal according to the control instruction. In addition, the terminal may store a correspondence between a system identifier of the target operating system and the control instruction, so that after the foreground operating system of the terminal is changed to the target operating system, the terminal may further obtain the control instruction based on the correspondence and control the terminal according to the control instruction.
Message transmission method and apparatus
A message transmission method and a message transmission apparatus are provided. The message transmission method includes: obtaining, by a terminal, network congestion control configuration information; processing, by the terminal according to the network congestion control configuration information, a message generated by the terminal, and obtaining the processed message; and sending, by the terminal, the processed message. According to the method, a message generated by the terminal can be processed flexibly to relieve a network congestion problem in the Internet of vehicles.

Decentralized auto-scaling of network architectures
Disclosed herein are systems, devices, and methods for providing auto-scaling in a cluster of device instances. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising updating, using a distributed counter, a metric associated with one or more instances executing a network application; identifying that the metric has exceeded a threshold defined in a scaling policy based on comparing the distributed counter to the scaling policy; identifying a command to execute in response to the metric exceeding the threshold; and executing the command to modify the one or more instances.
Systems and methods for traffic accounting for SaaS usage
A client application installed on a client device may monitor communications flows between embedded browsers of the client application and one or more servers, including enterprise servers and non-enterprise servers, at upper layers of a network stack of the client device including the application layer, session layer, and presentation layer. Communications to different endpoints may be classified as enterprise or non-enterprise, measured, and aggregated to provide disambiguation of enterprise and non-enterprise communications of the device transiting a single communications link (e.g. cellular data connection). Server and network policies may be applied in accordance with the measurements with higher accuracy than policies based on total bandwidth utilized by the device without regard to its classification. These policies may include load balancing, communication pooling, multiplexing, buffering, pre-fetching or edge caching of data, instantiating or halting execution of virtual machines in a cloud environment, or other such functions.
Control device, execution device and device management method
A control device, an execution device, a device management method, and a device management system are provided, and are related to the field of network technologies. The control device includes: a network communications interface configured to connect to an execution device through a network, where the execution device is a network communications device; and a processor configured to send a device management protocol packet through the network communications interface, where the device management protocol packet indicates an operation performed on a register in a first chip in the execution device and/or the device management protocol packet indicates that a pin of a second chip in the execution device is set to a status indicated by the device management protocol packet.
Access control and ownership transfer of digital content using a decentralized content fabric and ledger
Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, devices, computer program products, and methods implementing aspects of a decentralized content fabric. In some implementations, one or more processors are configured to provide fabric nodes of an overlay network, including one or more fabric nodes that receive a client's request to access digital content on the overlay network. The request includes an authorization token digitally signed by or on behalf of a user of the client. The fabric node(s) extract a user identifier (ID) from the authorization token, then determine that one or more rules maintained on the overlay network are satisfied. The one or more rules condition access to the digital content upon the extracted user ID matching an ID associated with an owner of a digital instrument. The digital instrument, which can be a non-fungible token, is stored in a blockchain ledger as a unique representation of the digital content.
