A combined storage system comprising: a first frame having a width, length and height which defines an internal volume space, and guid rails located along the lower width of the bedframe; a support frame fitting within the length and width of the first frame and being pivotally connected thereto, movable between a closed position wherein the support frame is parallel with the plane defined by the upper width and length of the first frame, and an open position wherein the support frame and said defined plane have an acute angle therebetween; a primary storage unit pivotally connected to the support frame and occupying a first position, within the internal volume when in the closed position; a secondary storage unit pivotally connected to the support frame and slidably engaged with the guide raids and occupying a second position within the internal volume when in the closed position; wherein when the support frame is pivoted from, the closed to the open position, the primary storage unit raises with the support frame and occupies a space between the support frame and the first frame, and the secondary storage unit slides along the, guide rails from the second position into the first position.

The present invention relates to a piece of furniture having at least one adjustable work surface. The furniture includes a mast, a work surface having a first mast hole, a torsion plate having a second mast hole that is fastened to the work surface, at least one torsion lever, a torsion spring, at least one handle, and at least one linkage. A user pulls the handle causing the torsion lever to reposition the torsion spring increasing the diameter of the torsion spring allowing the work surface to be slidably repositioned on the mast. The user then releases the handle causing the torsion lever to reposition the torsion spring such that the torsion spring constricts gripping the mast and preventing the work surface from moving horizontally or vertically along the mast.

An overhead storage unit includes a guide member having a first horizontal segment mountable within an overhead storage area, a second vertical segment mountable below the overhead storage area, and a curved segment extending between the first and second segments. A storage assembly has storage containers each connected to at least one other storage container at common pivots. The storage containers displace along the guide member between a stored position and an accessible position. Each storage container pivots relative to an adjacent storage container on the common pivot as the storage containers are displaced between the stored and accessible positions. The storage containers are disposed within the overhead storage area and have a first orientation in the stored position. The storage containers are disposed below the overhead storage area and have a second orientation different from the first orientation in the accessible position.

An overhead storage unit includes a guide member having a first horizontal segment mountable within an overhead storage area, a second vertical segment mountable below the overhead storage area, and a curved segment extending between the first and second segments. A storage assembly has storage containers each connected to at least one other storage container at common pivots. The storage containers displace along the guide member between a stored position and an accessible position. Each storage container pivots relative to an adjacent storage container on the common pivot as the storage containers are displaced between the stored and accessible positions. A wall cabinet for attachment to a wall includes a carcass that is fixable to a wall and a shelving unit that is housed within the carcass. The shelving unit is movable relative to the carcass between a first position, wherein the shelving unit is housed within the carcass, and second position, wherein the shelving unit extends at least partially beneath the carcass. Sensors may be provided to detect a position of a door of the cabinet, detect an environment beneath the shelving unit, and/or detect an acceleration of the shelving unit. The shelving unit includes a bottom shelf and a further shelf, and the bottom shelf protrudes forward beyond the further shelf.

A method of controlling a worktop unit including a frame configured to support a worksurface and a leg configured to support the frame such that the frame is movable relative to the leg between a first position and a second position having a greater elevation than the first position; and a sensor configured to detect an environment beneath the worktop unit and/or a sensor configured to detect an acceleration of the frame, includes the steps of: determining whether a safety condition is satisfied, the safety condition being a condition for avoiding collision between the worktop unit and its environment; or a crush condition; and if the safety condition is satisfied, moving the frame between the first position and the second position.

A storage apparatus includes a pully system, a moveable platform, X-bars, a lowering and lifting means and attachment elements. The platform includes at least one support tray and side and end platform supports. The pully system includes at least one pully, a lowering and raising mechanism and at least one rope or cable, where the rope or cable is attached to at least one pully support. The lowering and lifting means turns the lowering and raising mechanism such that the rope or cable moves over pullies in the pully system to raise and lower the platform of the storage apparatus.

An automatic handing cabinet, whose function is to facilitate a user in moving the cabinet modules vertically, which comprises a gear (1.1), arranged in two units, located at the top of the product, with the function of rotating the internal parts; a motor (1.2), arranged in a unit, located at the top of the product; bearings (1.3); a coupling (1.4); a support bar (1.5); a counterweight (1.6); an industrial chain (1.7), fixed to the support bar (1.5), at the bottom of the furniture. The furniture (1) will have internal modules that can be used as shelves and the modules may be moved vertically via a command using remote radio, infrared, voice or sound recognition units, software through computers, tablets or smartphones, and even through household appliances commands.

A storage system including at least two support rails attached to a ceiling or other overhead structure and at least two channel rails which are configured to be moveably attached to the support rails in a spaced relationship with sliding fastening clips. The channel rails move along the length of the support rail in order to accommodate the different widths of storage containers which are to be installed in the storage system.
