Welding mechanism for manufacturing a bi-compositional screw
A welding mechanism for welding different blank sections includes a welding device and a carrier. The carrier has a base, two opposite positioning members, an operating set disposed between the positioning members and driven by a power source, and a holding member and a pushing member which are respectively disposed relative to the positioning members. The blank sections, including a front section and a rear section, are separately placed on the operating set. The front section is restricted by the holding member. The pushing member pushes the rear section, so the two sections meet at a joint. When the two sections rotate synchronously along with the rotation of the operating set, the welding device welds the two sections at the joint circumferentially to produce a bi-compositional screw, thereby preventing the generation of air and pores inside the joint after welding, increasing processing quality, and reducing processing costs.
LAMINATE SHAPING METHOD
A laminate shaping method includes: a unit step repeatedly performed, the unit step including a step of forming a laminate shaped portion by laminating metal layers formed of weld beads, and a step of forming a processed side surface by cutting a shaped portion side surface facing a second direction intersecting a first direction, in which, in the step of forming the processed side surface, the shaped portion side surface is cut so that a receiving portion projecting in the second direction with respect to the processed side surface is formed at an uppermost layer of the laminate shaped portion in the first direction, and when the unit step is repeated, in the step of forming the laminate shaped portion, a new metal layer is laminated so as to overlap an upper surface of the receiving portion in the first direction.
CLADDING ALLOY POWDER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ENGINE VALVE USING THE SAME
Provided are a cladding alloy powder that can increase the wear resistance of a cladding alloy to be deposited and a counterpart member adapted to contact the cladding alloy, and a method for producing an engine valve using the cladding alloy powder. The cladding alloy powder includes 0.2 to 0.5 mass % C, 30 to 45 mass % Mo, 15 to 35 mass % Ni, 0.5 to 2.0 mass % Zr, and a balance including Co with unavoidable impurities. The method for producing an engine valve includes melting the cladding alloy powder, and cladding a valve face portion of an engine valve adapted to contact a valve seat with the melted cladding alloy powder.
Plow blade
The present disclosure provides a plow blade edge device for mounting to a moldboard of a plow comprising at least one adapter blade including a bottom edge having selectively carbide insert(s) along at least a portion of the bottom edge. The disclosure further provides for a method of brazing the carbide insert(s) in a cavity along at least a portion of the bottom edge. The device further includes at least one wear block selectively reversible to present the adapter blade at a first angle or a second angle. The at least one wear block can include a bottom edge having a carbide insert along at least a portion of the bottom edge.

A solder alloy has an alloy composition containing Zn of 3 through 25 mass %, Ti of 0.002 through 0.25 mass %, Al of 0.002 through 0.25 mass % and balance of Sn, a solder joint made of the solder alloy, and a jointing method using the solder alloy.

Wear resistant coating
A composite material comprising a plurality of round particles bound together by a binding material. Each of the plurality of round particles includes a wear resistant element, an intermediate coating on the wear resistant element, and a round outer layer encapsulating the intermediate coating and the wear resistant element. The intermediate coating is metallurgically bonded to the wear resistant element, and is metallurgically bondable to the binding material.
Welded Fencing System with Prefabricated Connectors
A corner fitting includes a sleeve body having a hollow inner space and configured to coaxially fit over a pipe member of a predetermined size. An edge of the sleeve body at a second distal end has a corner cut portion, a protruding tab, and two recesses, the protruding tab being diametrically opposed to the corner cut portion in the radial direction of the sleeve body, and the recesses being diametrically opposed to each other in the radial direction of the sleeve body. The corner cut portion is configured and shaped such that the sleeve body fits together with an identical sleeve body on the pipe member of the predetermined size with the corner cut portions of the two sleeve bodies contacting each other and with the pipe being nested between the protruding tabs of the second distal ends of the two sleeve bodies.
Laser cutting method
The present disclosure provides a laser cutting method. The laser cutting method is applied to cut a polarizer. The method includes: providing a non-linearly polarized light; adjusting the non-linearly polarized light to a first linearly polarized light by a polarization adjusting device; and cutting the polarizer by the first linearly polarized light.
Luminescent braze preforms
A braze preform includes a filler metal, a flux in communication with the filler metal, and a luminescent material covering at least a portion of the filler metal. The luminescent material is equal to or less than 0.15% total weight of the braze ring. Further, the luminescent material includes at least one of a luminescent ink, a solvent, and a binder. The solvent may be one of a bromide-based solvent or a non-chlorine-based solvent. The binder may be an acrylic resin.
