Device for transmitting energy to a fastener
The invention relates to a device for transmitting energy to a fastener, with a reaction chamber, an energy-transmission element that can move in a fastening direction for transmitting energy released in the reaction chamber to a fastener, a first supply channel opening into the reaction chamber for feeding a first reagent to the reaction chamber, wherein the first supply channel comprises a feeder device for feeding the first reagent into the reaction chamber and a controllable closing device for a time-wise closing of the first supply channel.
Method for manufacturing an electrodeposited diamond wire saw using patterned non-conductive materials
The present invention relates to an electrodeposited diamond wire saw using patterned non-conductive materials in which non-conductive materials are pre-patterned along the outer circumference of a wire on which diamond grit should not be rubbed, before the diamond grit is upset, in order to efficiently improve the manufacturing process, and to a method for manufacturing same. According to one preferred embodiment of the invention, the method for manufacturing an electrodeposited diamond wire saw includes: printing a masking solution on the outer circumference of a wire in a plurality of directions when the wire is inserted for patterning; and upsetting diamond grit on the remaining regions of the outer circumference of the wire, with the exception of the patterned region.
Dual impact fluid driven hammering tool
Disclosed is a fluid hammer tool with two separate fluid hammers in separate sections of the tool. The tool includes an upper poppet valve assembly along one fluid flow path, and a lower poppet valve assembly along a separate outer flow path. Both fluid flow paths are fed from an upper sub and both exit through a lower sub. Both poppet valves include spring return mechanisms. Sealing of each poppet valve propagates an upstream shock wave. The lower poppet valve assembly encounters greater fluid flow and generates a larger shock wave. In the period when the upper poppet valve is closed, the lower poppet valve cannot open.
Quick change rail fastener driving workhead unit
A fastener driving workhead unit is provided for performing an operation on spikes of a railroad track having a plurality of ties, and includes a hammer housing configured for accommodating a hammer, the housing being attached to a hammer bushing having a hammer bushing clamp. Also included in the workhead unit is an anvil assembly having an anvil and an extension coupler, the extension coupler being releasably secured to the hammer bushing by fastening the hammer bushing clamp. Further, the workhead unit includes a jaw assembly having a jaw block, the jaw block having at least one jaw block clamp for releasably securing a guide rod to the jaw block by the jaw block clamp, such that the anvil freely reciprocates in the hammer housing for driving the spikes into the plurality of ties.
Percussion unit
A percussion unit for a rotary hammer and/or percussion hammer includes a control unit that is configured for open-loop and/or closed loop control of a pneumatic percussion mechanism. In at least one operating state in which the control unit changes from an idle mode to a percussion mode, the control unit is configured to adjust at least one operating parameter temporarily to a starting value.
Spindle device and machine tool
A cooling gas is fed from an ejection nozzle into the interior of a through-hole which is formed in a radially central portion of a main spindle, and which penetrates through said main spindle in an axial direction. The cooling gas passes through radial venting holes provided in a plurality of locations, in the circumferential direction, in an axially intermediate portion of the main spindle, is fed into axial venting holes provided in a plurality of locations, in the circumferential direction, extending from one axial-direction end of the main spindle to an intermediate portion thereof, is caused to flow through the axial venting holes, and is discharged from discharge holes.
Hand-held power tool and production method
A production method provides for punching holes in a metal strip, cold-forming the metal strip to form a guide tube, and joining the lengthwise edges of the metal strip to each other by a seam or teeth so as to create a uniform material. Subsequently, a piston-like striker is inserted into the guide tube.
Rotary gear transmission for tools
A cutting tool mechanism 11 for providing a cutting, abrading or grinding action is disclosed. The mechanism 11 has an inner circular part 17 having teeth 19 extending radially outwardly, a surrounding circular part 25 having inner teeth 27 extending radially inwardly. The circular parts 17 and 25 co-operate by engagement their teeth 19 and 27. Rotation of one circular part causes the other to move constrained by the engagement of the teeth in an orbital, oscillatory or impact motion. An input coupling 81 is provided for transmission of rotary motion, and an output coupling 37 is provided to transmit said orbital, oscillatory or impact motion to a blade 13. In further embodiments, the surrounding circular part 25 can be provided with outwardly extending teeth and surrounded by a further outer circular part with inwardly extending teeth, to cooperate with the outwardly extending teeth, to provide more complex orbital, oscillatory or impact motion.
Nail magazine for nailing gun
The present invention relates to a versatile nail magazine for a nailing gun. In certain embodiments, the versatile nail magazine includes an elongated nail magazine body for loading nails. The nail magazine body includes: a front end connected to a nailing head of the nailing gun, and a rear end for reloading various types of nails, a nail shank track having a lower end, and an upper end, a nail head track disposed on the upper end of the nail shank track, and one or more nail head positioning protrusions disposed between the upper end of the nail shank track and the nail head track for securing the plurality of nails. The nail shank track, and the nail head track extend lengthwise along nail magazine body. Nails in a nail strip are loaded in the nail head track, and the nail shank track from rear end of nail magazine body.
Positive feed tool with a modular architecture
Positive feed tools that include gear heads configured to be driven by a motor. The gear heads further include a pneumatic manifold that provides for access to input/output signals to add on additional components that include additional air logic functionality. The gear head includes first and second interface positions. Each interface is configured to receive either the motor for powering the gear head or an add-on component to provide additional functionality to the tool.
