RECYCLING OF LIGNOCELLULOSIC FIBERS FROM FIBERBOARDS

A process for recycling lignocellulosic fibers from a fiberboard (100) comprising compressed lignocellulosic fibers bonded together by a binding agent. The process comprises the steps of: —disintegrating (101) the fiberboard (100) to provide fiberboard pieces (110); —steaming (111) the fiberboard pieces (110) to decompress and release the lignocellulosic fibers by hydrating them, as well as hydrolyzing the binding agent; —releasing the overpressure; —removing excess water vapor to provide portions (120) comprising released lignocellulosic fibers; and—separating (121) the lignocellulosic fibers in the portions (120) comprising released lignocellulosic fibers to provide recycled lignocellulosic fibers (130).

A WOOD CHIPPER

A chipper includes a hopper and a chipper unit. The hopper is configured to receive vegetative debris via an inlet end. The chipper unit has an outer casing and an inlet passing therethrough. The inlet of the chipper unit is connected to the outlet end of the hopper to in use receive the vegetative debris within the outer casing. The chipper unit includes a cutter located which is configured to chip vegetative debris. The hopper and the outer casing are configured so that the hopper and outer casing can be moved between a position where the hopper is substantially vertical and a position where the hopper is substantially horizontal.

Axial adjustment apparatus for chipper disc

An apparatus, system and method for adjusting and setting a fixed position of an axially displaceable shaft and rotary chipper disc combination, without requiring an attachment to or obstruction of an end face of either end of the axially displaceable shaft. A rotary chipper disc recoil mechanism is also provided for the purpose of detection of unwanted axial forces placed upon the rotating shaft caused by unintentional chipping of metal, and for limiting consequential damage caused by the unintentional chipping of metal and other non-wood materials.

Stump grinder chip pickup chute device and collection system

A stump grinder chip pickup chute device and collection system structured and/or configured to capture and control chips cut from a stump by a stump grinding/cutting wheel and to redirect the chips to a desired target chip collection location.

Chipper adapter system and method

An adapter method and system includes a first side deflector, a second side deflector, and a top deflector coupled to the first side deflector and the second side deflector. The system may further include an internal deflector coupled to the first, second, and top deflectors. A first leg is coupled to the first side deflector and a second leg is coupled to the second side deflector. The legs are adjustable between a first position and a second position. The first, second, and top deflector define an entrance region for channeling wood-based debris into the chute of a woodchipper. Each side deflector may include a coupling mechanism for attaching to a woodchipper. Each coupling mechanism has an aperture. Each leg may telescope within a respective side deflector.

In-feed roller for a wood chipper and method of making thereof
11623221 · 2023-04-11 ·

An in-feed roller for a wood chipper and a process of making thereof. The roller has seven, eight, or nine perimetric planar sides. It is made by providing a plurality of curved plates equal to the number of sides and a pair of end plates having a plurality of perimetric edges equal to the number of sides. Each curved plate has a side portion for extending between respective edges of the end plates, a knife portion, and a junction portion at the junction of the side portion and the knife portion. First tab and slot connections attach the side portions of the curved plates to the edges of the end plates respectively. Second tab and slot connections attach the terminal edges of the side portions of the curved plates to the junction portions of adjacent curved plates respectively.

Wood cutting blade with adjustment legs and blade positioning assembly

A blade and assembly provides for a blade that has a front beveled cutting edge and at least two recesses defined within the back, or non-cutting edge, of the blade. A substantially cylindrical cavity or bore extends inwardly into the blade from each recess, the bores being defined in planes that are parallel to the top and bottom surfaces of the blade. A plurality of “T-shaped” legs is provided, each leg having a cross bar or “foot” that is secured at one end of a rod. In the preferred embodiment, three such legs are used, although the present invention is not limited to that number. The rod of each leg is used for insertion into a blade bore. Means for fixing the position of the rod within the blade bore is also provided. This allows the blade to be properly positioned within the holder thereby compensating for blade wear.

PROCESSING METHOD FOR WASTE ORIENTED STRAND BOARD, WASTE ORIENTED WOOD CHIPS, AND ORIENTED STRAND BOARD AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of resource recycling and provides a processing method for a waste oriented strand board and waste oriented wood chips, and an oriented strand board preparation method thereof. The processing method for a waste oriented strand board provided in the present disclosure includes the following steps: softening a waste oriented strand board to obtain a softened waste oriented strand board; and flaking the softened waste oriented strand board pieces using a disc flaker to obtain waste oriented wood chips. According to the present disclosure, the waste oriented strand board is softened first to be chipped readily. It is specified in the present disclosure that the disc flaker is used such that relatively intact wood chips can be obtained.
