Injection-molded article and method for manufacturing same
This injection-molded article is an injection-molded article using a cellulosic fiber composite resin, including: a resin insert piece including a colorant or a cellulose fiber; a first region formed of the cellulosic fiber composite resin; and a second region formed along a weld line of the cellulosic fiber composite resin extending from the resin insert piece, in which the first region and the second region have different color tones.
Molding apparatus, method of molding, and molded products
A method for producing a molded product 70 involves the use of a mold 40 including a cavity 44 to which a molding material is supplied and an intercepting member 45 capable of moving back and forth within the cavity 44. The method comprises an interception step for moving the intercepting member 45 into the cavity 44 and an injection step for injecting the molding material into the cavity 44. During the injection step, the intercepting member 45 is used to regulate the flow of the molding member inside the cavity 44 at the initial stage of the injection. The intercepting member is thereafter pulled into the mold 40.
PRESSURE VESSEL AND ALSO APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A PRESSURE VESSEL BLANK COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE CONNECTION ELEMENT
The present embodiments provide an apparatus for producing a pressure vessel blank, comprising at least one connection element, a multi-part blow-moulding tool, and at least one blowing pin. The present embodiments further provide a pressure vessel comprising at least one connection element, a pressure vessel blank, and a supporting shell connected to and supporting the pressure vessel blank. An aspect of the present embodiments provides a process for producing a pressure vessel blank using an apparatus comprising at least one connection element that enables a shortened time for producing a pressure vessel blank with increased stability under pressure.
Methods of internally insulating a fluted core sandwich structure
A method of partially insulating an interior space of a pre-formed fluted core panel is disclosed herein. The fluted core panel includes a first facesheet, a second facesheet spaced apart from the first facesheet, and webs between the first facesheet and second facesheet. The interior space is defined between the first facesheet, the second facesheet, and adjacent webs. The method includes positioning a spacer in a first portion of the interior space, positioning a membrane between the spacer and a second portion of the interior space, and positioning insulation in the second portion of the interior space. Additionally, the method includes pressing the membrane against the spacer, curing the membrane, and removing the spacer from the first portion of the interior space.
Stabbing-proof composite structure, method of manufacturing a composite structure, stabbing-proof insert, and protective textile
A composite structure for stab protection includes layers of flat structures placed on top of each other, and an embedding material, wherein, in at least some of the layers placed on top of each other, the flat structures of adjacent layers are offset relative to one another, the flat structures of the composite structure are at least partially embedded in the embedding material, and the composite structure includes separated connecting elements, wherein before they are separated, the separated connecting elements have connected at least some of the flat structures of adjacent layers with one another.
Moulded article reinforced with a reinforcing element, method for production thereof and use thereof
The invention relates to a method for the production of a moulded article, reinforced with at least one reinforcing element, by means of injection moulding. The reinforcing element is hereby connected integrally to the injection mould wall so that, with subsequent injection moulding of the polymer matrix, the reinforcing element is fixed in the mould. The invention relates likewise to a reinforced moulded article which is producible according to this method. The moulded articles according to the invention are used in the production of automobile parts, industrial and consumer goods and also sports appliances.
Method and apparatus for a thermoplastic homogeneous failure module
A failure module includes a support element. A reinforcing element is disposed on the support element. The support element is chemically compatible with the reinforcing element. A homogeneous chemical bond is formed between the support element and the reinforcing element.
Method for homogenous thermoplastic seat back assembly
A seat back assembly that includes a composite seat back cover. The composite seat back cover includes at least one composite layer, that includes a layer of reinforcing fibers and a thermoplastic layer surrounding the reinforcing fibers. The thermoplastic layer is coextensive with the layer of reinforcing fibers. In various embodiments, the seat back includes a seat back frame. The seat back frame includes a side rail, a top rail main section, and a top rail cap. The side rail, the top rail main section, and the top rail cap are fused to each other by a homogenous chemical bond. A homogenous chemical bond is formed between the seat back cover and the seat back frame creating a unitary seat back assembly.
