Replication alignment of components for use in inkjet printing applications
Techniques for more accurately and efficiently replicating the alignment of one or more printer components with respect to another printer component are described herein. Replication may be achieved by using a fixture and a connection media to create a near exact replica of features of the fixture, or to temporarily hold multiple printer components in position while a joining layer of the connection media hardens. More specifically, a connection media, such as epoxy, can be used to fill an intentionally-established gap between connecting bodies or components that are held in a predetermined position by the replication fixture. The replication fixture represents a mechanical mounting interface that influences the position of a print head (or an array of print heads) within a printer housing or printing mechanism. Joining printer components in such a manner enables a stable mechanical coupling to be formed that does not require post operations.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a recording head configured to perform recording on a recording medium being conveyed in a conveyance direction, a carriage in which the recording head is mounted, the carriage being configured to perform scanning in a scanning direction that intersects the conveyance direction, and a guide member including a flat surface configured to guide the carriage in the scanning direction. The carriage includes a sliding part configured to slide in contact with the guide member, an impregnated member impregnated with lubricant on at least one side of the sliding part in the scanning direction, and a pressure member configured to press the impregnated member to the guide member side from a surface on a side opposite to the guide member with respect to the impregnated member.

Apparatus for distributing load and system for treating substrate with the apparatus
Provided are a load distribution apparatus capable of efficiently distributing loads for a plurality of inkjet head modules and a substrate treatment system including the same. The load distribution apparatus includes a second support formed to be elongated in one direction and having both side portions higher than a central portion and in which a head module for discharging droplets onto a substrate is installed in the central portion, a first support supporting the second support on at least one side and supporting the second support below the second support, a first support unit supporting the second support on at least one side and supporting the second support above the second support, and a plate installed above the first support unit and connected to the first support unit, wherein a load of the head module is distributed by the first support and the first support unit.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CARRIAGE APPARATUS, AND CONTROL METHOD
A printing apparatus includes a carriage mounted with a printing unit configured to perform printing on a print medium, a first motor used to move the carriage, a second motor used together with the first motor to move the carriage, and a control unit configured to control the first motor and the second motor. When moving the carriage, the control unit controls the first motor with a first control amount and controls the second motor with a second control amount. The first control amount and the second control amount are different from each other, and a ratio therebetween is a predetermined ratio.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CARRIAGE APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes: a carriage mounted with a printing unit; a first motor configured to move the carriage in a predetermined direction; a second motor configure to move the carriage in the predetermined direction; and a control unit. The control unit executes a first mode in which, when causing the printing unit to perform printing under a first printing condition, the first motor is driven in a first direction and the second motor is driven in a second direction, and a second mode in which, when causing the printing unit to perform printing under a second printing condition different from the first printing condition, the first motor is driven in the first direction and the second motor is driven in the second direction while changing an output ratio between the first motor and the second motor.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a carriage, a recording head, a frame, and a guide member. The conveyance unit conveys a sheet in a conveyance direction. The carriage moves in a scanning direction crossing the conveyance direction and has a first abutment portion and a second abutment portion higher in position than the first abutment portion. The recording head is mounted on the carriage, arranged to face a sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit, and ejects a liquid onto the conveyed sheet to record an image. The frame has a first sliding portion in abutment with the first abutment portion and has a second sliding portion in abutment with the second abutment portion. The guide member supports the carriage and is fixed to the frame at a position separated from the first sliding portion.
Ink-jet print heads protecting system in a digital printing machine
The present invention relates to an ink-jet print heads protecting system in a digital printing machine, wherein the module comprises a chassis (1), rollers (2), and a plurality of digital printing units (10), each with a bridge (11) with guides (12) and a sliding carriage (13) with ink-jet print heads (14), one part of each guide overlapping the band and another part projecting beyond the band path, the carriage being movable between the printing and maintenance positions; and in that each bridge is attached to the chassis by of a position adjustment device (20) and an articulation (25) that are spaced apart or by two position adjustment devices (20) that are spaced apart.
