PERCHING UAV WITH RELEASABLE CRAWLER
20230034243 · 2023-02-02 ·

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) a fixed frame and a rotating arm pivotably coupled to the fixed frame at a central axis. The fixed frame includes peripheral propellers and corresponding motors for flying the UAV, and a central electronics enclosure for housing electronics used to control the UAV. The rotating arm is between the propellers and configured to rotate with respect to the fixed frame about the central axis. The rotating arm includes magnetic feet at a first end of the rotating arm and configured to perch and magnetically attach the UAV to a ferromagnetic surface, a docking station at the first end and configured to release and dock a releasable crawler, and a battery at a second end of the rotating arm opposite the first end and configured to supply power to the motors and the housed electronics, and to counterbalance the first end about the central axis.

A camera lens is installed in an unmanned aerial vehicle. The camera lens includes, from an object side to an image side, a first lens group, a second lens group, a diaphragm, and a third lens group. The first lens group includes a first lens having a negative refractive power and a second lens having a positive refractive power. The second lens group includes a third lens having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens having a positive refractive power, a fifth lens having a positive or negative refractive power, a sixth lens having a negative refractive power, and a seventh lens having a negative refractive power. The third lens group including an eighth lens having a positive refractive power and a ninth lens having a positive or negative refractive power. The camera lens needs only nine lenses to achieve high-quality imaging for the unmanned aerial vehicle.

A UAV body and a delivery structure, wherein the delivery structure has a mounting piece, a reset assembly and a limiting piece. The reset piece deforms when the piece to be transported is lifted, which resets to drive the piece to leave the mounting groove when the piece to be transported touches the ground. The first end of the limiting piece is connected to the reset piece, and when the piece to be transported is not lifted, the second end of the limiting piece can be connected to the mounting piece by magnet to seal the opening of the mounting groove. The reset piece drives the limiting piece to move so as to separate the second end from the mounting piece when the piece to be transported is lifted.

Battery modules for unmanned and human piloted electric aircraft comprise two planar substrates with electrochemical cells secured between to form load-bearing structural components from which fixed-wing aircraft with greater endurance can be constructed. The cells can be oriented perpendicular or parallel to the substrates, and in the latter case the substrates can include slots that the cells fit into. The cells can be secured to the substrates by adhesives, welding, soldering and the like. Battery modules can be formed to the shapes of fixed-wing aircraft parts such as wings.
