COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR OPTOGENETIC IMMUNOTHERAPY
The invention provides novel light-switchable CAR T-cells that can be remotely controlled through NIR-light-converting upconvension nanoparticles, and related CAR T constructs, nanoparticles, compositions and methods thereof for optogenetic therapy.
EXTRUDED FLUORESCENT FILMS
Optical elements and compositions are provided which include an extruded polymer, and a plurality of fluorophores disposed within. The fluorescent compositions have quantum yields greater than 50% and are stable in performance over long durations of time under oxygen, moisture, and light exposure. In some embodiments, the extruded polymer is prepared as pellets, microparticles, nanoparticles, or films.
COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a (meth)acrylate monomer.
LARGE-SCALE PLASMONIC HYBRID FRAMEWORK WITH BUILT-IN NANOHOLE ARRAYS AS MULTIFUNCTIONAL OPTICAL SENSING PLATFORMS
A nanohole template is disclosed which includes a substrate and a vertically aligned nanocomposite (VAN) structure disposed over the substrate. The VAN structure is a metal nitride having circular periodic nanoholes of about 2 nm to about 20 nm in diameter.
QUANTUM DOT COMPOSITION, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME, AND DISPLAY DEVICE MANUFACTURED BY THE DISPLAY DEVICE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A quantum dot composition includes a scatterer containing an inorganic material, a quantum dot containing a core and a shell surrounding the core, a ligand binding to the quantum dot, a polymer resin in which the quantum dot and the scatterer are dispersed, and a dispersant containing at least one of an acidic substituent or a basic substituent. At least one of the polymer resin or the dispersant includes a same material as the shell and the ligand binds to the polymer resin or dispersant that includes the same material as a shell.
FULL-FIELD METROLOGY TOOL FOR WAVEGUIDE COMBINERS AND META-SURFACES
Embodiments described herein provide for metrology tools and methods of obtaining a full-field optical field of an optical device to determine multiple metrology metrics of the optical device. A metrology tool is utilized to split a light beam into a first light path and a second light path. The first light path and the second light path are combined into a combined light beam and delivered to the detector. The detector measures the intensity of the combined light beam. A first equation and second equation are utilized in combination with the intensity measurements to determine an amplitude and phase Ψ at a reference point directly adjacent to a second surface of the at least one optical device.
Nanocavities, and systems, devices, and methods of use
Disclosed are dielectric cavity arrays with cavities formed by pairs of dielectric tips, wherein the cavities have low mode volume (e.g., 7*10.sup.−5λ.sup.3, where X is the resonance wavelength of the cavity array), and large quality factor Q (e.g., 10.sup.6 or more). Applications for such dielectric cavity arrays include, but are not limited to, Raman spectroscopy, second harmonic generation, optical signal detection, microwave-to-optical transduction, and as light emitting devices.

Color filter and image display device
Disclosed are a color filter including a wavelength conversion layer which converts the wavelength of light, a light transmission layer formed on the wavelength conversion layer, and a wavelength filter layer formed on the light transmission layer, and an image display device. The light transmission layer transmits a light moving between the wavelength conversion layer and the wavelength filter layer and blocks the flow of outgas. The color filter includes the light transmission layer which transmits a light moving between the wavelength conversion layer and the wavelength filter layer and blocks the flow of outgas, thereby capable of achieving high color reproductivity while having excellent light-emitting efficiency and light retention rate.
Photonic antenna array with tapered fiber ends
A photonic antenna array includes: a plurality of tapered fiber ends; and a support plate. Each tapered fiber end of the plurality of tapered fiber ends corresponds to a respective fiber of a plurality of fibers. A portion of each of the plurality of fibers is run through the support plate. A fiber core diameter at a tapered end point of a respective tapered fiber end of the plurality of tapered fiber ends has a first diameter. A fiber core diameter at a non-tapered portion of the respective fiber corresponding to the respective tapered fiber end has a second diameter. The first diameter is smaller than the second diameter. The respective tapered fiber end is configured to provide a mode field diameter larger than a diameter of the non-tapered portion of the respective fiber corresponding to the respective tapered fiber end.
