20230218041 · 2023-07-13 ·

A present invention related to a method for manufacturing a dot bonding shoe insole using an adhesive resin containing hydrophobic nano-silica, including: melting adhesive resin made of any one selected from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) containing hydrophobic nano-silica in the range of 0.2 to 5 phr and applying to the surface of the transfer roller in which the intaglio dot pattern is formed in a mesh shape in the shape of the shoe insole;

removing the adhesive resin applied other area than the intaglio dot pattern of the surface of the transfer roller;
transferring the adhesive resin applied to the intaglio dot pattern of the surface of the transfer roller to either one of the foam or the fabric;
bonding the foam and the fabric by compressing; and
cutting a shoe insole shape in a package in which the foam and the fabric are bonded.

METHOD OF GLUING A WOOD PRODUCT AND A GLUED WOOD PRODUCT
20230219252 · 2023-07-13 · ·

The present invention relates to a method of producing a glued wood product for use in construction, comprising the steps of: providing at least two wooden pieces each piece comprising at least one joining face; creating a groove in at least one of said joining faces where the groove is arranged between a pair of peripheral edges; applying adhesive onto at least one of the joining faces of at least a first of said two wooden pieces; arranging said first wooden piece so that the joining face which comprises the applied adhesive meets a corresponding joining face of said second wooden piece, wherein at least one of said two joining faces comprises said groove; pressing the two joining faces towards each other so that the adhesive is compressed between said two wooden pieces, and maintaining said pressing for a sufficient time to bond the wooden pieces to each other; wherein the applied pressing force is strong enough to force the wood tissue to collapse at a contact area until the pressure force is transmitted primarily through the adhesive, wherein said contact area is defined by the surface area whereat the two joining faces of said wooden pieces contact each other upon being pressed together.

Resin foam, resin foam sheet, adhesive tape, vehicle member, and building member

The present invention aims to provide a resin foam, a resin foam sheet, an adhesive tape, a member for a vehicle, and a member for a building that are capable of exhibiting very high sound insulation properties. Provided is a resin foam having a multitude of cells, the resin foam containing: a thermoplastic resin; and a plasticizer, the resin foam having a minimum loss factor of a primary anti-resonance frequency in the range of 20° C. to 60° C. of 0.05 or higher and a secondary anti-resonance frequency in the range of 20° C. to 60° C. of 300 to 800 Hz as measured by mechanical impedance measurement (MIM) in conformity with JIS G0602.

Methods and formulations for bonding dissimilar materials

The present disclosure is directed to a formulations of cements and methods for bonding dissimilar materials. The formulations and methods can bond a Non-polyvinyl chloride (PVC) containing first polyolefin that is amorphous or has low crystallinity to a second material that is a rigid material or a hard PVC. The methods and formulations can work by co-dissolution at an interface, or activation of a one of the materials prior to bonding.
