Device and method for acquiring and processing measurement quantities in a sewing machine
A method and the device for acquiring and processing measurement quantities in a sewing machine (1) using at least one camera (25), situated on a sewing machine (1), for the acquisition and processing of image data for sewing machine elements and sewing elements. An image processing unit connected downstream from the camera (25) processes the images supplied by the camera (25), taking into account data stored in a target quantity memory, and influences the behavior of the machine control unit dependent on the result of the processing.
Double Needle Threader
A double needle threader, includes an elongate graspable body having a pair of threading ledges formed thereupon, including a first threading ledge and a second threading ledge, a pair of threading apertures including a first threading aperture and a second threading aperture extending through said threading ledges, a pair of ridges including a first ridge and a second ridge formed adjacent said threading apertures, said ridges each having a collapsible wire loops, including a first wire loop and a second wire loop projecting therefrom extending over said threading apertures, said wire loops each having a generally angular return bend formed therein, said wire loops being configured to be passable through the eye of a needle, wherein the threading loops are of different sizes, the first wire loop being coarser than the second wire loop so that the first wire loop accommodates larger needles and sewing machines, while the second wire loop has a finer wire for smaller needles.

Overlock sewing machine
An overlock sewing machine includes: a looper cover detection member movable from non-switching to switching positions with looper cover open to closed state transition, with switching member operation switching the threading mechanism state to sewing-enabled after looper cover detection member movement to switching position; a side cover detection member movable from non-detection to detection positions with side cover open to closed state transition; and a lever coupled to the looper cover detection member and side cover detection member, switchable between states of pressing and not pressing the operating protrusion, following looper cover detection member and side cover detection member operating states. The lever is set to the pressing state upon movement of the looper cover detection member to switching position and of the side cover detection member to detection position.

Thread storage and dispensing sewing assembly
There is provided a sewing assembly that comprises a plurality of pins for receiving spools of thread, a plurality of thread cutters and retainers adjacent an extremity of the container, a plurality of slots located therebetween, and a needle threader. Thread unwound from a thread spool and received within a respective slot is cut by pressing the unwound thread at a desired length within a respective thread cutter so as to cut the unwound thread and simultaneously retain uncut thread within a respective thread retainer.

Sewing machine threading device
A sewing machine threading device includes: hermetic lips capable of making hermetic contact with a peripheral band-ring-shaped region of needles surrounding thread exits of needle eye, and which further includes a peripheral band-ring-shaped pad which surrounds suction port holes which draw in air from the thread exits of the needle eyes; a needle thread suction conduit pipe connected to the suction port holes; a position switching mechanism which moves the hermetic lips to a threading position such that the hermetic lips are in contact with the needle with the suction port holes being aligned with the thread exits, and, when forming a stitch, retracts the hermetic lips from the needle and moves said hermetic lips to a standby position; and a pump which takes in one end of the thread to be inserted into thread entrances of the needle eyes.
