A method of identifying a defect in a wet film comprises conveying said wet film (20), in a wet state, on a conveyor (10), providing a laser projection (1511) onto the wet film, acquiring a series of images, each depicting an area of the wet film, wherein at least a portion of the laser projection is visible, and using at least some of said images to identify said defect. Method for producing wet-laid non-woven fabrics, with which an aqueous suspension comprising fibres is laid down on a screen and is dewatered using suction boxes under the screen to form a sheet of non-woven web which is removed from the screen and guided to at least one subsequent treatment unit before the non-woven web can be wound, and transferring of the non-woven web from the screen to the at least one subsequent treatment unit and/or transferring of the non-woven web to interfaces between treatment units on the start of production and/or after an interruption in production, using a web feed, wherein web is fed via a temporarily closed draw of a free draw between the screen and the at least one subsequent treatment unit and/or of a free draw at an interface between treatment units, and the respective temporarily closed draw is produced via air flows, which lift off an end feeding strip as part of the running non-woven web by blowing, adhere same to a transport path device by generating negative pressure and lift up same at the following treatment unit by suction.

A sheet manufacturing method includes: a defibrating step of defibrating a raw material containing a fiber in air; a mixing step of mixing a defibrated material defibrated in the defibrating step and a resin in air; a web forming step of forming a web by accumulating the mixture mixed in the mixing step on a moving body; a transporting step of transporting the web; a sheet forming step of forming a sheet from the web; a setting step of setting a thickness of the sheet; and a control step of controlling a moving speed of the moving body and a transporting speed of the web in the transporting step, in accordance with the thickness of the sheet set in the setting step.

The present disclosure relates to a system for pulp processing and resupply of production-quality pulp to at least one fiber molding system, where the system is constructed in scalable modular form. For this, the system includes at least one supply module (110) and one or more process modules (120). The supply module (110) and the process modules (120) are equipped with a plurality of interfaces (150), matched to one another in each case, in order to connect supply and process modules (110, 120) to one another. This may guarantee the infrastructure supply of the process modules (120). The pulp or the constituents and starting materials may be received via at least one inlet (130) and transported between the process modules (120) to provide the production-quality pulp (160) via an outlet (140) for use by at least one fiber molding system.
CALENDER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SUCH A CALENDER
A calender includes a rotatable roller, and a belt co-acting with the roller with a determined belt pressure. At least one material for feeding through the calender is situated between the roller and the belt for a determined contact time during throughfeed through the calender. The calender also includes means for heating the fluid and/or the roller, control means for controlling the heating means and/or the belt pressure and/or the contact time, and at least one first temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of an outer periphery of the roller and at least one second temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the fluid. The control means are configured to control the heating means and/or the belt pressure and/or the contact time on the basis of the measured outer periphery temperature and the measured fluid temperature.
