EXTENSIBLE SHELLS AND RELATED METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING A DUCTILE SUPPORT PIER
Extensible shells and related methods for constructing a support pier are disclosed. An extensible shell can define an interior for holding granular construction material and define a first opening at a first end for receiving the granular construction material into the interior and a second opening at a second end. The extensible shell can be flexible such that the shell expands when granular construction material is compacted in the interior of the shell. A method may include positioning the extensible shell in the ground and filling at least a portion of the interior of the shell with the granular construction material. The granular construction material may be compacted in the interior of the extensible shell to form a support pier.

Electrical Pole with H-Web Caisson
An H-pile caisson includes side tabs that can be gripped by side-mounted clamps on a vibratory hammer so that the caisson may be lifted into position from a horizontal position, oriented vertically, and driven into the ground without readjustment of the clamping of the vibratory hammer. A bolted side-extending base plate provides a mounting surface for a pole while allowing a continuous section of the H-pile to be received directly by the vibratory hammer.

Cofferdam system and method of installing the same
The present disclosure relates to a cofferdam system securable to an underwater structure and across a body of water. The system includes a post support and anchoring assembly securable to the structure, a web support frame which extends upwardly from the post support and anchoring assembly in a spaced apart configuration from a surface defined by the underwater structure, as well as a substantially flexible impermeable web which is positioned across the body of water and which is adapted to cover the post support and anchoring assembly and at least a lower section of the web support frame outwardly therefrom. Such configuration of the system allows to provide a substantially dry enclosure from a dam upstream side between the substantially flexible impermeable web and the underwater structure when mounted thereto and once water is being removed from a dam downstream side. A method for installing the same is further described.
Expanding foundation components and related systems and methods
A foundation component having an elongated shaft with a below-ground end and an opposing above-ground end. The foundation component is installed by sleeving it over a mandrel and applying downward force to the mandrel to insert the component and mandrel into underlying soil. Proximate to the underground end, the shaft has one or more crumple zones formed along its length. When the mandrel is rotated to a locked position and upward force is applied while bracing the above-ground end of the component, one or more of the crumple zones expand transversely into the soil, depending on the soil's density, thereby increasing the component's bearing capacity and resistance to pull out.
