The strip may be attached to the upper surface of the first leg. In some embodiments, the strip may comprise a single layer of material, while in other embodiments, the strip may comprise two or more layers of material. The strip may comprise material having fire resistant, intumescent, and/or sound insulating properties. The finishing accessory may be configured to be installed in a gap at a head of wall joint by positioning the first leg and strip along the top edge of a wallboard panel and the second leg extending vertically downward along the outer surface of the wallboard panel.

WEDGE SYSTEM WITH FRICTION ISOLATION PLATES
20230235576 · 2023-07-27 ·

The system includes receivers and wedges. Each receiver has a base and a perpendicularly-extending hook having an aperture. Each hook is disposed as a spacer between a pair of tiles in an array laid in bedding, to provide for side-by-side tile spacing. The base is disposed beneath the pair. Each wedge has a clamping surface and a ribbed gripping surface orientated angularly thereto. Each wedge extends through the aperture such that: the pair is captured between the base and wedge, with the clamping surface disposed in coplanar relation to the pair; the gripping surface grips the receiver, to resist wedge withdrawal and maintain the clamped engagement until the bedding has cured. The gripping surface width is less than the wedge width. The hook has a wall that defines one edge of aperture, is opposite to and presents towards the planar element in perpendicular relation. The wall fits between the ribs.

Configurable tile leveler

For leveling tiles, a tile leveler includes a base, a plurality of joint spacers, and two or more break lines. The brake lines are formed in the base along planar axes. Each joint spacer is within a subdivision distance of a break line. Each joint spacer adjacent to a given break line is on a spacer side of the given break line, and the break lines divide the base into sections.

Leveling clip and tile leveling device for use of same

A leveling clip and tile leveling device for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the leveling clip includes a body defining an opening that is configured to accept a wedge device thereat. Tapered legs extend from the body and join a base at a base to body coupling. The base extends to a front and a rear of the body. The base to body coupling includes a frangible breakaway section that is integral prior to frangible separation and the frangible breakaway section, upon breaking, frangibly separates the body from the base. The leveling clip may be used with the wedge device to install two, three, or four tiles.

MULTI-PURPOSE TILE SPACING TOOL
20230220685 · 2023-07-13 ·

A multi-purpose tile spacing tool is disclosed. The multi-purpose tile spacing tool provides multiple functions; including obtaining a desired grout gap spacing between adjoining tiles, a lipping alignment surface tool, and a wedge for urging tiles into a desired alignment. The multi-purpose tile spacing tool includes an elongate plate having a width corresponding to a desired grout gap. A first end has a blunt squared profile of a uniform thickness, and a second end has a tapered edge for wedging tile alignments. A first multi-purpose tile spacing tool is joinable with a second via a first notch defined at an intermediate position of a bottom edge of the elongate plate with a second notch defined along a top edge to provide for a corner tool between adjoining tiles.

For leveling tile, a tile leveling device includes a tower, a base, and two leveling ridges. The tower includes a cross piece and two struts that extend in a distal direction along a first axis from the cross piece. The base is connected to the two struts at a base intersection and extending along a traverse axis from the two struts, the base comprising two side edges, two front edges, and four diagonal cutouts, wherein the two side edges are each perpendicular to both the two front edges, a diagonal cutout is between each side edge and front edge pair at a diagonal angle and each strut comprises a notch along a break line at an outer intersection. The two leveling ridges are disposed on a proximal surface of the base.

Device for Positioning an Object Relatively to a Support by an Inflatable Air Cushion Member in Combination with a Support Block
20220388820 · 2022-12-08 ·

The device comprises a combination of an inflatable air cushion member of a flexible but non-stretchable air tight sheet material and a support block. The inflatable air cushion member is formed as a bag unit comprising opposite layers of said sheet material provided face to face and joined along an edge area to form a double layer edge.

Templating Device
20220372769 · 2022-11-24 ·

A templating device for preparing beams includes a rod that has opposed ends, each of which is both slidably engageable and fixedly engageable to a first segment of a respective protractor of a pair of protractors, such that the first segment extends linearly from the rod. The first segment is pivotally engaged to a second segment, which is selectively fixably positionable relative to the first segment. The rod and the first segments are positioned between a pair of surfaces, with each second segment positioned flush to a respective surface. A user fixes the second segment relative to the first segment to provide a respective angle measurement and a length measurement between the surfaces, and then templates these measurements onto a beam. The user then can cut the beam to length, with the ends of the beam angled so that the beam fits between the pair of surfaces.
