Walkway installation having a handrail connector
A walkway installation includes a walkway assembly which includes at least one tread module supported by a pair of spaced apart elongate supports which extend in the direction of the length of the walkway installation, the walkway installation additionally including a handrail assembly including a handrail which extends in the direction of the length of the walkway assembly and a plurality of spaced apart posts which each secure the handrail relative to the walkway assembly, the handrail assembly additionally including a first connector which secures a post to one side of the walkway assembly and the first connector having secured thereto a substantially inflexible transverse link which extends across the walkway assembly in a direction perpendicular to the length of the walkway installation, the transverse link extending to a second connector secured to the other side of the walkway.
Handrail for scaffolding structures
A handrail, in particular for scaffolding structures, for example stairway scaffolding structures, includes at least two handrail segments connected to one another by a connection unit to provide a continuous handrail, wherein at least one handrail securing element for securing the handrail segment to a scaffolding element is secured to at least one of the handrail segments, wherein the connection unit includes two connection elements that can pivot relative to one another about a pivot axis, wherein at least one connection element is/can be connected to one of the handrail segments connected to one another via the connection unit such that it can rotate about an axis of rotation that is not parallel and not orthogonal in relation to the pivot axis.

SCAFFOLDING ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a scaffolding arrangement with a scaffolding assembled from individual scaffolding components for internal construction or maintenance work within a coker drum standing upright on the ground and which has a lower end portion with a cross-section which tapers in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the drum towards a closable opening at the lower end of the coker drum, the scaffolding comprising: a support section with several support posts each having a lower and an upper end, the support posts, with their lower ends being supported outside of the coker drum on the ground and each of them, through the opening provided on the lower end of the coker, extending in a vertical direction into the coker drum, wherein the support section comprises several support posts spaced from one another, a support frame comprising a plurality of support beams which are detachably connected to one another, the support frame being attached to and supported by said support section, a first working platform which is arranged on top of the support frame, the first working platform being preferably located within the tapered lower end portion of the coker drum; and a scaffold tower section having one or more further working platforms which is/are each arranged in an axial direction above the first working platform inside the coker drum. The vertical loads of the scaffolding as a whole, are solely transferred to the ground via the said support section of the scaffolding, which is fully self-supported. The invention further relates to a scaffolding for an aforesaid scaffolding arrangement (FIG. 1)
PLATFORM SYSTEM
A platform system comprising a platform structure having at least one modular platform unit with platform connection features on a side surface thereof to which other components can be connected, the other components including at least two of the following: another modular platform unit, a stair unit, a tower unit, a handrail unit, and a ladder unit. A stair assembly is connected to the platform structure via said connection features, the stair assembly comprising a plurality of stair units connected together to provide a number of steps equal to the sum of steps of the stair units.
SCAFFOLDING STAIR SYSTEM
A combined stairway and platform used in scaffolding systems. A stairway and platform system includes a stairway having steps, a top landing platform and a bottom landing platform, wherein the top and bottom landing platforms are integrally formed with the stairway. The top and bottom landing platforms are attachable to a scaffolding frame. An upper and lower end panel, to which a handrail is attached, are configured to attach to the scaffolding frame.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A CONSTRUCTION SITE DEVICE AND CONSTRUCTION SITE DEVICE
A method and construction site device for vertical transportation during a building construction phase include a climbing formwork platform arranged in a currently uppermost region of the building for concreting at least part of the building core, an elevator car intermittently adjusted to a current building height in a first elevator shaft by hoisting a mechanical platform to a higher level and fixing it there, a construction elevator temporarily installed in a second elevator shaft and attached to the climbing formwork platform with a construction elevator car vertically movable in a construction elevator frame, and wherein people and/or material are transported to a floor associated with an access opening of the construction elevator by the elevator system and then are transported from this floor to a floor situated in the currently uppermost region of the building or to the climbing formwork platform by the construction elevator.
Transport apparatus for assembly component and method of using transport apparatus
An apparatus for manipulating assembly components into desired configurations and a method for using same, where the assembly component includes a first and second bore set at a first and second transverse angles, for receiving attaching members. The apparatus includes a pair of attaching members that engage the bores to extend toward each other, and a manipulating member securing the base portions of the attaching members to each other. The attaching members may include side struts that relieve side pressure on the bores and may also include internal air passageways. The manipulating member has a length that prevents the secured attaching members from disengaging from their bores, and provides a location for a moving device to indirectly connect to the assembly component. The moving device can move the assembly component in a different directions to achieve different configurations.
Modular staircase
A modular staircase is disclosed. The modular staircase includes a first staircase section having a plurality of steps and a first support member detachably connected to the first staircase section. Further, the modular staircase includes a second stair module having a second staircase section including a plurality of steps and a second support member detachably connected to the second staircase section and to the first support member. The modular staircase further includes a third stair module having a third staircase section including a plurality of steps and a retractable third support member detachably connected to the third staircase section and to the second support member.
