Safety Interlocks for Outlets
Power outlets adapted for installation within an enclosure are provided. Power outlets are provided having a safety interlock adapted to prevent the creation of a hazardous condition within the enclosure as a result of the continued operation of an electrical device within the enclosed space. The safety interlock may include current limiting circuitry and hardware, hazard sensing devices interconnected with such current limiting circuitry and hardware or other circuit breaker switches, and combinations of such safety interlocks.

Actuator for high-speed switch
An actuator for a high-speed switch is proposed. The actuator can include a frame having multiple mounting plates and columns. The mounting plates have parts installed thereon or movably supported thereby. The columns maintain the space between the mounting plates. A permanent magnet is installed on one of the mounting plates so as to face the second driving plate, and an elastic member is installed on the mounting plate that faces the mounting plate having the permanent magnet installed thereon, so as to provide force for the movement of the second driving plate.
Switching device with a modular auxiliary switching unit
A switching device includes a base module equipped with an electromagnetic drive that has a yoke, a coil and an armature arranged movably relative to the yoke, and that has a switching contact that includes a stationary switching piece and a movable switching piece arranged opposite the stationary switching piece, wherein the switching contact is switchable between an open position and a closed position via movement of the armature, where the switching device also includes a modular auxiliary switching unit equipped with a contact system that consists of a stationary switching piece and a movable switching piece arranged opposite the stationary switching piece such that the coupling between the base module and the modular auxiliary switching unit is configured such that different distances in the contact system of the auxiliary switching unit are transferrable during a trigger event via an elastic element regardless of the auxiliary switching unit in use.
Electromagnetic switch protection structure
An electromagnetic switch protection structure includes a power-off key located between a press assembly and a contact seat. The power-off key is provided with a press portion extending downward. The press portion directly presses an elastic seat of the electromagnetic switch. When a power-off button is pressed, movable contacts of the elastic seat can be immediately separated from immovable contacts of electrode plates to cut off the power supply of the electromagnetic switch. That is, the press assembly is slightly touched to cut off the power supply, not pressing deep to cause an erroneous pressing, to avoid damage to the electromagnetic switch, achieving the protection of the electromagnetic switch.
Circuit breakers with shaped neutral busbars and/or load terminals and related methods
Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI), Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or AF/GF circuit breakers which may optionally have relatively small or compact bodies that have shaped neutral busbars and/or load terminals with an arm that extends through a window of a current transformer in a circuit breaker housing. The neutral busbar and/or load terminal can have a rigid or semi-rigid shaped body with a first segment that extends through the window of the current transformer and a second segment that extends behind the first segment about a printed circuit board. A plug-on, pigtail or bolt-on neutral can engage an electrical pad of the neutral busbar.
Circuit breakers with moving contact arm with spaced apart contacts
Circuit breakers with moving contacts having a rocking movement, e.g., heel-toe action, are configured to direct arcing across one of two (first and second) spaced apart contacts on a moving arm to an adjacent arc chute to thereby alleviate deterioration due to arcing and improve conductivity of the first moving contact over time.
