A four-direction carpet shampooer is disclosed. Example embodiments include: a first brush configured to rotate on a first axis; a second brush configured to rotate on a second axis, the second axis being different from the first axis; a direction of travel sensor to detect the shampooer direction of travel; and a rotation changing actuator configured to reverse the rotation of the first brush on the first axis and to reverse the rotation of the second brush on the second axis when the direction of travel sensor indicates the shampooer direction of travel has changed. Example embodiments also include a shampooer cleaning station comprising: a first brush configured to rotate on a first axis; a second brush configured to rotate on a second axis, the second axis being different from the first axis; and a hair grinding system including protrusions configured to remove hair from a brush roll of a carpet shampooer, and a grinder to grind up the hair and dispose the ground-up hair into a waste water reservoir.

A floor maintenance machine includes a clean water tank and a brush deck. A first and second fluid supply system place the clean water tank in fluid communication with outlet(s) at the brush deck. The first fluid supply system includes a first fluid supply line adapted to receive a soap or detergent therein supplied from a soap or detergent well. The second fluid supply system includes an ozone generator and a second fluid supply line adapted to receive injected ozone therein with the ozone being generated from the ozone generator.

A floor maintenance machine includes a clean water tank and a brush deck. A first and second fluid supply system place the clean water tank in fluid communication with outlet(s) at the brush deck. The first fluid supply system includes a first fluid supply line adapted to receive a soap or detergent therein supplied from a soap or detergent well. The second fluid supply system includes an ozone generator and a second fluid supply line adapted to receive injected ozone therein with the ozone being generated from the ozone generator.

A machine for cleaning and sanitizing contains an outlet, a flow selector, a hydraulic circuit, a pump, a first three-way hydraulic fitting, a detergent injector, a second three-way fitting, at least one air compressor, and a fourth three-way fitting. The hydraulic circuit contains a first branch, a second branch, and a third branch. The outlet of the machine is adapted to mount a foam or rinse water dispenser, which is adapted to emit foam from the first branch or water from the second branch. The air compressor is in flow communication with the third branch. The flow selector is adapted to divert either the foam from the first branch or the water from the second branch towards the outlet of the machine.

A floor cleaning and drying system for simultaneously shampooing, vacuuming, and drying a floor includes a housing. A power source is coupled to the housing. A shampooing apparatus is coupled to the housing and expels a cleaning fluid under pressure downwardly onto a floor. A vacuum apparatus is coupled to the housing and suctions a dirty fluid upwardly from the floor. A floor drying apparatus is coupled to the housing and blows a heated gas downwardly onto the floor to facilitate drying the floor. A plurality of wheels is rotatably coupled to the base wall to facilitate movement of the housing across the floor. A handle extends upwardly from the housing. A control panel coupled to the handle is electrically coupled to the power source for selectively actuating the shampooing apparatus, the vacuum apparatus, and the floor drying apparatus.
