An endoscope, which is provided with an observation optical system provided at the tip of an insertion portion and a connecting pipe portion for sending a fluid onto the observation optical system side, includes a small diameter portion which has one end opening to which a fluid from the connecting pipe portion flows and has a diameter smaller than the connecting pipe portion, a lid portion which covers the other end opening of the small diameter portion, and a guide wall which is provided inside the lid portion to be separated from an edge of the other end opening in a radial direction of the other end opening and guides the fluid from the small diameter portion to an outlet.

WATER BOTTLE CAP ASSEMBLIES

Embodiments of the present invention provide water bottle cap assemblies suitable for attachment to an endoscopic device and a water source. The water bottle cap assembly can include a plurality of ports and an engageable member to sealingly engage the cap with a water source. The assembly also includes a plurality of tubular members, each tubular member coupled to a respective port so as to be in fluid communication therewith. The assembly can include a cap having a grippable surface that is overmolded onto the cap. The cap can also have a soft inner seal on the interior surface, and the soft inner seal can be integrally formed with the overmolded grippable surface. The cap can have a top that is pressfit onto the main portion of the cap. The grippable surface material can be overmolded over the top of the cap.

An endoscope includes a shaft assembly having proximal and distal ends and a longitudinal axis therebetween. A handle is coupled to the proximal end of the shaft assembly, and an elastomeric body housing an image sensor and at least one LED is comprises a distal end of the shaft. The elastomeric body is deformable between a repose straight insertion profile and a deflected offset profile by the insertion of a tool shaft through the shaft assembly and an expandable-collapsible working channel in the elastomeric body. The viewing angle of the image sensor is moved from a first selected angle to a second selected angle when the elastomeric body is actuated from the repose profile to the deflected offset profile.

TUBING ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS FOR FLUID DELIVERY

This disclosure relates generally to medical tubing assemblies and methods for fluid delivery from a single fluid reservoir. In one example, a tubing assembly may be configured to couple to an endoscope for distributing fluid between the endoscope and a fluid reservoir during an endoscopic procedure. The assembly may comprise a tubing manifold, a cap configured to be removably attached to the fluid reservoir, a portion of gas supply tubing and lens wash supply tubing in fluid communication between the manifold and the endoscope, a portion of gas supply tubing in fluid communication between the cap and the manifold, and a portion of lens wash supply tubing in fluid communication between the fluid reservoir and the manifold. Further examples may include portions of irrigation supply tubing and portions of alternate gas supply tubing selectively connectable in fluid communication between the manifold, fluid reservoir and endoscope.

Insertable endoscopic instrument for tissue removal

An improved flexible endoscopic instrument to precisely and efficiently obtains samples of flat polyps and multiple polyps from a patient by debriding one or more polyps and retrieving the debrided polyps without having to alternate between using a separate cutting tool and a separate sample retrieving tool and may be used with an endoscope. In one aspect, the cutting tool is coupled to a flexible torque coil or torque rope that is configured to transfer rotational energy from a powered actuator through the length of the endoscope onto the cutting tool.
