ENDOSCOPE WITH PIVOTING LIGHTING
A scope system is provided including an elongate tube with a distal portion and a lumen extending therethrough, the distal portion comprising a distal end section comprising a pivot arm, the scope system further comprising a plurality of lights distributed on and connected to the distal end section and the pivot arm. The plurality of lights is configured to be connected by an electrical wire and/or a conductor to a power source.
GASTRIC CALIBRATION HOSE
In a gastric calibration hose with an elongated flexible hollow body having an outer wall and a first and a second hose end, it is provided that the elongated flexible hollow body has at least two channels, each of which extend in the longitudinal direction of the hollow body, the first channel having at least one opening in the area of the second hose end, and the second channel being closed at the second hose end, at least one illuminant being arranged in the second channel in the area of the second hose end.
ENDOSCOPE HAVING MULTIPLE VIEWING DIRECTIONS
An endoscope may include a shaft having a longitudinal axis, a first image sensor facing a distal direction, and a second image sensor facing a lateral direction. The endoscope may further include a tubular member having a lumen, the lumen having a distal-end opening and defining a longitudinal axis through a center of the lumen. The tubular member may be movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration of the tubular member, the longitudinal axis of the lumen may be parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shaft. In the second configuration of the tubular member, the longitudinal axis of the lumen may extend through a lateral opening in a wall of the shaft.
Ingestible device and associated methods
An ingestible device is disclosed which can produce spectral data of one or more analytes, as well as associated methods for characterizing the gastrointestinal tract of a subject which contains such analytes. Related kits and systems are also disclosed.
Endoscope
An endoscope according to the present invention includes an insertion section, a forward observation window and a forward illumination system disposed at a distal end surface of the insertion section, a lateral observation window and a lateral illumination system disposed toward a proximal end, and an image capturing element captures an image of light. The forward illumination system includes a scattering element surrounding the forward observation window, and light guide fibers that cause illumination light from a light source to enter, toward a distal end, input locations arranged in a circumferential direction at a proximal end of the scattering element. The scattering element is constituted by dispersing particles in a homogenous medium, and satisfies the conditional expressions 0.06≤μs≤100 and 0.7≤g<1, where μs indicates a scattering coefficient (1/mm) of the scattering element and g indicates an anisotropy parameter of the particles.
Image scanning, displaying and lighting system for eliminating color difference
An image scanning, displaying and lighting system for eliminating color differences is revealed. The system includes an image scanner, a display screen with a second emission spectrum and a lighting device with a third emission spectrum. The image scanner consists of an optoelectronic image capturing and forming system, a plurality of first light sources disposed around the optoelectronic image capturing and forming system and a control module. The first light sources have a first emission spectrum which is a white light composed of a plurality of wavebands with different peak wavelengths. The control module controls the optoelectronic image capturing and forming system to take monochrome images in different colors in time sequence. The second emission spectrum has the same characteristics as the first emission spectrum while the third emission spectrum has the same characteristics as the second emission spectrum.
Endoscopic device and method for endoscopic examination
The invention relates to an endoscopic device, in particular for medical applications, comprising an endoscope with a shaft that is introducible into a subject under examination, and a data processing unit, three or more optical imaging units having respective imaging elements arranged distally on the shaft and image sensors associated therewith for providing image data sets for the data processing unit, wherein the data processing unit is configured and programmed such that it uses the image data sets to determine corresponding image points therein and generates a 3D surface data set of an object imaged by the imaging units in the subject under examination. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for endoscopic examination.
A DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPIC EXAMINATION CUM SAMPLE COLLECTION AND METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides an endoscopic device for examination cum sample collection of an orifice of a user's body. In particular, the device is useful for vaginal and cervical examination. The device comprises a camera attached on the probe along with a radial luminous system and cytobrush for sample collection attached within the probe. A latex balloon and air flow directly through port are provided to inflate the vaginal cavity. The invention also provides the method for sample collection and supervision through controlled camera.
ENDOSCOPE HEAD COMPRISING A HOUSING ELEMENT MADE FROM TRANSPARENT MATERIAL
The invention relates to an endoscope head including a camera, a housing element made from transparent material which surrounds the camera at least laterally and at least in portions and extends to the distal end of the endoscope head, and including at least one illumination unit which is arranged laterally from the camera and/or proximally from the camera. The invention further relates to an endoscope comprising such endoscope head.
