The controller is further configured to control the at least one display to display information based on the patient record.
Crosstalk reduction for intra-oral scanning using patterned light
According to some embodiments there is provided a method for structured light scanning of an intra-oral scene, comprising: projecting onto the intra-oral scene a color-coded pattern comprising an arrangement of entities having edges between them; each entity comprising a different narrow band of wavelengths; and detecting the projected pattern as a plurality of pixels in an acquired image of the scene using at least two narrowband filters, wherein for each pixel of at least 95% of the pixels of an entity of interest comprising a first band of wavelengths, a contribution of light from a second band of wavelengths of an adjacent entity is less than 10%. Some embodiments relate to a scanner system for structured light scanning of an intra-oral scene.
Laser scanning and tool tracking imaging in a light deficient environment
Systems, methods, and devices for laser scanning in a light deficient environment. A system includes an emitter for emitting pulses of electromagnetic radiation and an image sensor comprising a pixel array for sensing reflected electromagnetic radiation. The system includes a controller comprising a processor in electrical communication with the image sensor and the emitter, wherein the controller synchronizes timing of the pulses of electromagnetic radiation during a blanking period of the image sensor. The system is such that at least a portion of the pulses of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the emitter comprises a laser scanning pattern.
Offset illumination of a scene using multiple emitters in a hyperspectral, fluorescence, and laser mapping imaging system
Offset illumination using multiple emitters in a fluorescence imaging system is described. A system includes an emitter for emitting pulses of electromagnetic radiation and an image sensor comprising a pixel array for sensing reflected electromagnetic radiation. The emitter comprises a first emitter and a second emitter for emitting different wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation. The system is such that at least a portion of the pulses of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the emitter comprises one or more of a hyperspectral emission, a fluorescence emission, and/or a laser mapping pattern.
Scanning mechanisms for imaging probe
The present invention provides scanning mechanisms for imaging probes using for imaging mammalian tissues and structures using high resolution imaging, including high frequency ultrasound and/or optical coherence tomography. The imaging probes include adjustable rotational drive mechanism for imparting rotational motion to an imaging assembly containing either optical or ultrasound transducers which emit energy into the surrounding area. The imaging assembly includes a scanning mechanism having including a movable member configured to deliver the energy beam along a path out of said elongate hollow shaft at a variable angle with respect to said longitudinal axis to give forward and side viewing capability of the imaging assembly. The movable member is mounted in such a way that the variable angle is a function of the angular velocity of the imaging assembly.
