The sexual stimulation device has a body and an interchangeable head that can be interchangeably coupled to the body. The body has a motor. The interchangeable head has a stimulation surface. A kit is also provided having two such bodies and four interchangeable heads. Each of the four interchangeable heads has a different stimulation surface.

Mobile device based techniques for detection and prevention of hearing loss

Techniques are provided for mobile platform based detection and prevention (or mitigation) of hearing loss. An example system may include a hearing loss indicator data generation circuit configured to measure hearing loss indicator data associated with use of the device by a user. The hearing loss indicator data may include ambient sound characteristics, user speech volume level and user volume setting of the device. The system may also include an audio context generation circuit configured to estimate context data associated with use of the device. The context data may be based on classification of audio input to the device and on the location of the device. The system may further include an interface circuit configured to collect the hearing loss indicator data and the context data over a selected time period and provide the collected data to a hearing loss analysis system at periodic intervals.

Diagnosis and treatment of speech and language pathologies by speech to text and natural language processing

There is provided herein a method for assessing a speech/lingual quality of a subject, the method comprising: providing a content-containing stimulus to a user; recording the user's vocal response to the stimulus and/or to instructions related thereto; processing the user's recorded vocal response to measure/extract/compute at least one linguistics (prosodic) parameter and at least one acoustic parameter; transforming the user's vocal response into a transformed text section, which is based on a processing unit's interpretation of the user's verbal response; comparing the transformed text section to a predetermined text section, which represents the user's expected; and computing an output signal indicative of at least one speech/lingual quality of the user, based at least on data resulted from the texts comparison, the at least one measured/extracted/computed linguistic parameter and the at least one acoustic parameter.

COCHLEA HEALTH MONITORING

Presented herein are in-situ techniques for monitoring a recipient's cochlea health to proactively identify (i.e., predict) changes to the recipient's cochlea health outside of a clinical setting. The cochlea health monitoring techniques presented herein obtain one or more cochlea health biomarkers associated with a recipient's cochlea health, such the recipient's residual hearing, and analyze these biomarkers to predict that a cochlea health change is likely to occur.

EARLY DETECTION OF NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASE
20230190158 · 2023-06-22 ·

Embodiments of the present systems and methods may provide a non-invasive system to measure and integrate behavioral and cognitive features enabling early detection and progression tracking of degenerative disease. For example, a method of detecting neurodegenerative disease may comprise measuring functioning of at least one of the motor system, cognitive function, and brain activity of a subject during everyday life and analyzing the gathered at least one motor system data, cognitive function data, and brain activity data of the subject.

VOICE RECOGNITION BASED EVALUATION OF PARKINSON DISEASE CONDITION(S)
20230190177 · 2023-06-22 ·

Systems and methods are provided for evaluating a Parkinson disease (PD) condition or a progression thereof by using voice analysis, and for treating the PD condition. Evaluation of the PD condition or of the progression thereof may be performed instantly or over time by analyzing current voice samples of the PD subject and, optionally, historical voice samples that are stored in a data storage unit, determining pertinent voice characteristics of the PD subject based on the analysis of the voice samples, and evaluating the PD condition, or the progression thereof by comparing current voice characteristics to similar voice characteristics. Treating a PD condition may include, for example, adjusting a drug delivery parameter to a level that is treatment-wise beneficial, for example, in preventing or delaying the onset of “off” periods or shortening the duration of an “off” period, or ameliorating a Hypokinetic dysarthria (HD) symptom or another PD symptom.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF TESTING A HEARING FUNCTION
20230190142 · 2023-06-22 ·

A system and method of adaptively testing a hearing function performs a hearing test including outputting a sound of a tested word chosen from a selected one of the word lists, receiving an input of a patient in response to the outputted sound, and determining whether the input matches with the tested word. The hearing test is repeated until a testing end condition is satisfied, wherein the selected one of the word lists in a next iteration of the hearing test has a next higher level of difficulty when the input matches with the tested word in a previous iteration of the hearing test, and the selected one of the word lists in the next iteration of the hearing test has a next lower level of difficulty when the input does not match with the tested word in the previous iteration of the hearing test.
