11633339 · 2023-04-25 · ·

The present disclosure relates to cleansing compositions that are free of sulfate-based surfactants and free of sodium chloride. The cleansing compositions include: (a) one or more non-sulfate anionic surfactants; one or more amphoteric surfactants; one or more nonionic surfactants; (d) one or more hydrophobically modified poly(meth)acrylates; one or more silicones; and water. The cleansing compositions are particularly useful for cleansing hair and providing conditioning benefits to the hair.

CLEANING COMPOSITION FOR ORAL APPLIANCE

A cleaning composition for an oral appliance, including the following components (A) and (B): (A) an unsaturated fatty acid having 10 or more and 20 or less carbon atoms or a salt thereof in an amount of 0.5 mass % or more and 14 mass % or less in terms of the fatty acid, and (B) one or more surfactants selected from the group consisting of an anionic surfactant (b1), a nonionic surfactant (b2), and an amphoteric surfactant (b3), and the composition has a pH at 25° C. of 5.5 or higher and 14 or lower.

SURFACTANT COMPOSITION

A surfactant composition comprising a sugar-based surfactant comprising a C8-C16 alkyl glucoside, a C8-C16 alkyl polyglucoside, or a combination of a C8-C16 alkyl glucoside and a C8-C16 alkyl polyglucoside; a C8-C18 amphodiacetate; a C8-C16 acyl sarcosinate, a C8-C16 acyl glutamate, a C8-C16 acyl glycinate, or a combination thereof; and optionally a C8-C14 acyl lactylate, wherein the composition is free of sulfated anionic surfactants.

NON-SOAP LIQUID CLEANSER COMPOSITION COMPRISING CAPRYLIC ACID

This invention relates to syndet-based compositions having pH of 4.5 to 5.5 wherein use of caprylic acid has been unexpectedly found to enhance bacterial kill.

NON-SOAP LIQUID CLEANSER COMPOSITION COMPRISING CAPRYLIC ACID

CLEANING COMPOSITIONS EMPLOYING EXTENDED CHAIN ANIONIC SURFACTANTS
20230183605 · 2023-06-15 ·

The invention discloses synergistic combinations of surfactant blends and cleaning compositions employing the same. In certain embodiments a surfactant system is disclosed which includes an extended anionic surfactant with novel co-surfactants including one or more of an alkyl glycerol ether, an ethoxylated alkyl glycerol ether, an alcohol ethoxylate and/or a gemini surfactant. This system forms emulsions with, and can remove greasy and oily stains, even those comprised of non-trans fats. The compositions may be used alone, as a pre-spotter or other pre-treatment or as a part of a soft surface or hard surface cleaning composition.

METHOD OF ACYLATING AMINO ACIDS AND USES OF N-ACYL AMINO ACID PRODUCTS
20230183095 · 2023-06-15 ·

The present invention relates to a method of preparing N-acyl amino acids selected from N-acyl cysteine compounds, N-acyl serine compounds, N-acyl aspartic acid compounds and N-acyl glutamic acid compounds. The present invention also relates to the use of N-acyl cysteine, N-acyl serine, N-acyl aspartic acid and N-acyl glutamic acid surfactants, in removing per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) from mixtures containing PFASs, such as soil and groundwater contaminated with PFASs and for use in cleaning compositions, detergent compositions and toothpaste compositions.

Sustainable cold-dispersible pearlescent concentrate

Sustainable, free-flowing, cold-dispersible pearlescent concentrates are made without using any controversial or known toxic substance is disclosed herein. The pearlizing concentrates of the instant invention are free of alkyl sulphates/alkyl ether sulphates, alkanol amides, alkylamidopropyl betaines, and esters of ethylene glycol. The pearly concentrates of the present invention employ ‘super-mild’ surfactants to disperse vegetable plant derived 1,3-proane diol stearates. Also, these concentrates are preserved without any controversial antimicrobials such as parabens, isothiazolinones and formaldehyde releasers.
