BLEACH COMPOSITIONS

Sanitizing and disinfecting compositions with relatively low levels of free available chlorine, with good effectiveness against microbes. The composition may include less than 0.5% by weight hypochlorite or other free available chlorine level, at least one nonionic or zwitterionic surfactant, with a pH from 8 to 12.5. The composition is characterized by an R value of greater than 0 (e.g., greater than 0.5, or equal to 1), where R is defined as the sum of the concentration of any nonionic, zwitterionic, and cationic surfactants divided by the total surfactant concentration (and total surfactant concentration may include any surfactant aids). The compositions may exhibit at least a 3-log reduction in M. bovis or C. diff population within 10 minutes (e.g., 4-6 minutes).

Liquid hand dishwashing detergent composition

The need for a liquid hand-dishwashing composition which provides further improved sudsing volume and longevity when washing dishware, especially at elevated temperatures, using diluted liquid hand dishwashing compositions, and especially in the presence of greasy soil and particulate soil, while avoiding unsightly residues on dishware, is met by combining a sudsing surfactant system with an EO-PO-EO triblock copolymer and a highly ethoxylated nonionic surfactant.

LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION

A liquid detergent composition is provided. The composition can be configured to provide high cleaning performance without the requirement of the inclusion of many components found in typical liquid laundry detergent compositions. The compositions may include a majority of an aqueous base, a surfactant system, a builder, and optionally further ingredients, such as a chelator and a fragrance.

Compositions comprising a nonionic surfactant and 0.1 to 30 wt. % of a low-mole alkoxylate are disclosed. Some low-mole alkoxylates have the formula

##STR00001##

wherein R is a linear or branched C.sub.8-C.sub.16 alkyl or alkanolamide group, AO is oxypropylene (PO), oxyethylene (EO), or combinations thereof in random or block configuration, p has an average value within the range of 0.5 to 7, the average number of PO groups is within the range of 0.5 to 4, and the average number of EO groups is within the range of 0 to 3. Dilute aqueous solutions comprising a nonionic surfactant and a minor proportion of a low-mole alkoxylate wet hydrophobic surfaces more effectively, limit foaming, and degrease better than solutions comprising only the nonionic surfactant. The low-mole alkoxylates help to boost wetting performance in applications that require low-foaming surfactants, such as automatic dishwashing and laundry detergents.

ENZYMATIC DETERGENT COMPOSITION WITH AMINO ACID

The present disclosure provides a detergent composition comprising water, at least one surfactant, at least one amino acid or a salt thereof, and at least one enzyme, wherein the detergent composition has a pH of greater than 7 to about 10. The composition can further comprise additional components, such as an anti-redeposition agent, bleaching agent, a bleach activator, a chelating agent, an additional chlorine scavenger, a biocide, an optical brightener, and a combination thereof. The detergent composition can scavenge chlorine to a concentration of 0 ppm in less than about 60 sec after contact with a 1 L water sample comprising up to 4 ppm chlorine.

PEG-modified castor oil based compositions for microemulsifying and removing multiple oily soils

Compositions are disclosed that include PEG-modified triglycerides as a surfactant. The mixtures form stable microemulsions with oils and fatty acids which can be the resultant product, such as lubricants, sunscreens, or triglyceride-based products. These emulsions or microemulsions are stable, irreversible, and can be created at low temperature. These can be used in detergents, rinse aids and the like to form microemulsions to remove oils and greasy soils, such as non-trans fats and fatty acids from substrates/surfaces often without the need for linker or other cosurfactants. Methods of making the compositions/microemulsions are included as well as uses thereof.
