A fragrance precursor of 3-(4-isobutyl-2-methyl phenyl)propanal, comprising at least an enamine and/or an aminal as reaction product of 3-(4-isobutyl-2-methylphenyl)propanal (compound according to formula (I)) and a primary and/or secondary amine ##STR00001##
useful as a perfume ingredient.

GLYCOSYLATED AROMA- AND FRAGRANCE PRECURSORS AND FRAGRANCE PRODUCTS THAT CAN BE ACTIVATED

The present invention discloses biotechnologically produced inactive aroma- and fragrance/scent precursors in new concentration ranges beyond those of natural aroma glycoside sources, which can be activated by external triggers like enzymes, temperature and p H, and then release the aroma and the fragrance.

Compositions for grafting fragrance substances

This disclosure relates to composition for grafting fragrance substances, as well as related articles, consumer products, and methods.

IMPROVED PERFUME COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING SULFUR-CONTAINING PRO-FRAGRANCE COMPOUNDS
20240376411 · 2024-11-14 ·

Described herein is a perfume composition including at least one perfumery raw material and at least one sulfur-containing pro-fragrance compound, where the perfume composition does not include more than 19 wt. % of perfumery raw materials that promote the formation of hydrogen sulfide from the sulfur-containing pro-fragrance. Also described herein are a method for preparing such a perfume composition as well as consumer products including the perfume composition.

Polyglycerol dye whitening agents for cellulosic substrates

The present application relates to novel whitening agents for cellulosic substrates. The whitening agents are comprised of at least two constituents: at least one chromophore constituent and at least one polymeric constituent. Suitable chromophore components generally fluoresce blue, red, violet, or purple color when exposed to light, or they may absorb light to reflect these same shades. The whitening agents are further characterized by the polymeric component comprising at least two repeating glycerol units. This disclosure also relates to laundry care compositions including but not limited to liquid and/or powder laundry detergent formulations and rinse added fabric softening (RAFS) compositions that comprise such whitening agents.

Photolabile pro-fragrances

Fragrances having a fresh character are usually very volatile and therefore not very economical in typical applications such as washing or cleaning processes for example. For that reason they have to be used in relatively large amounts in order to bring about appropriate effects. The present invention describes photolabile pro-fragrances of formula (I) that allow for a greatly improved persistence of the fragrance impression, in particular one having a fresh character, in typical applications. Said pro-fragrances attach very readily to target substrates, such as textiles for example. A more economical use of the fragrances in question can be ensured in this way. ##STR00001##

POLY(ASPARTIC ACID) DERIVED CO-POLYMERS FOR A CONTROLLED RELEASE OF PERFUMING INGREDIENTS
20180016396 · 2018-01-18 · ·

The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns co-polymers, derived from aspartic acid and comprising at least one - or -aspartic acid derivative capable of liberating an active molecule such as, for example, an ,-unsaturated ketone or aldehyde. The present invention concerns also the use of polymers or co-polymers in perfumery as part of a perfuming or malodor counteracting composition, as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.

Process for controlling malodors using oxazolidines

The invention describes a method for degrading off-odors by employing a special 1-aza-3,7-dioxabicyclo[3.3.0]octane compound. Degradation of off-odors to the point of extinction of the off-odor, on hard and/or soft surfaces, in particular on textiles, and in room air, is made possible.
