METALLIC TERMINAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A metallic terminal includes a terminal body, a first plating layer, a second plating layer, and a third plating layer. The first plating layer is on the terminal body, and the thickness of the first plating layer at the bent portion of the terminal body is 0.3 to 1.75 micrometers, and the thickness of rest portions of the first plating layer is 2 to 10 micrometers. The second plating layer is on the first plating layer and corresponds to the contact portion of the terminal body, and the thickness of the second plating layer is 0.5 to 2 micrometers. The third plating layer is on the first plating layer and corresponds to the soldering portion of the terminal body, and the thickness of the third plating layer is 0.01 to 0.1 micrometers. A manufacturing method of metallic terminal is also provided.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF SCROLL COMPRESSORS AND SCROLL COMPRESSORS MANUFACTURED THEREBY
The invention relates to a method of manufacture of a scroll compressor (1), in particular for pretreatment for the coating of areas in contact with one another during operation of the scroll compressor (1). The scroll compressor (1) is developed with a non-movable spiral (3) with a base plate (3a) and a spiral-form wall (3b) extending from one side of the base plate (3a), as well as with a movable spiral (4) with a base plate (4a) and a spiral-form wall (4b) extending from a front side of the base plate (4a). The spirals (3, 4) are developed out of a basis material.
METHOD FOR COATING STEEL SHEETS OR STEEL STRIPS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRESS-HARDENED COMPONENTS THEREFROM
The invention relates to a method for coating a steel sheet or steel strip to which an aluminium-based coating is applied in a dip-coating process and the surface of the coating is freed of a naturally occurring aluminium oxide layer. In order to provide a low-cost method for coating steel sheets or steel strips that makes the steel sheets or steel strips outstandingly suitable for the production of components by means of press hardening and for the further processing thereof, it is proposed that transition metals or transition metal compounds are subsequently deposited on the freed surface of the coating to form a top layer. The invention also relates to a method for producing press-hardened components from the aforementioned steel sheets or steel strips with an aluminium-based coating.

Metal deposition methods for forming bimetallic structures, batteries incorporating bipolar current collectors made therefrom, and applications thereof
In certain aspects, electrolytic deposition and electroless displacement deposition methods are provided to form bimetallic structures that may be used as a bipolar current collector in a battery or a substrate for forming graphene sheets. In other aspects, bipolar current collectors for lithium-ion based electrochemical cells are provided. The bimetallic current collector may have an aluminum-containing surface and a continuous copper coating. In other aspects, a flexible substrate may be coated with one or more conductive materials, like nickel, copper, graphene, aluminum, alloys, and combinations thereof. The flexible substrate is folded to form a bipolar current collector. New stack assemblies for lithium-ion based batteries incorporating such bipolar current collectors are also provided that can have cells with a tab-free and/or weld-free design.
