COLPOTOMY SYSTEM FOR TOTAL LAPAROSCOPIC HYSTERECTOMY
A colpotomy system includes a surgical instrument having a cutting element and a receiver at a distal end thereof and a uterine instrument. The uterine instrument has a handle operably coupled to a shaft having a balloon at a distal end thereof, the shaft extending through a retaining member to access a surgical site, the retaining member including a plurality of transmitters for transmitting at least one signal. A distance between the cutting element of the surgical instrument and one end of the retaining member of the uterine instrument is calculated to determine whether the cutting element is within a predetermined operating zone.
Fornix manipulator
A fornix manipulator includes a collar and stabilizer. The collar has a first end and a second end, the second end having an opening and diameter greater than the first end and the first end having an opening to receive a cervix into the collar. The stabilizer has a base portion defining a guide hole and a plurality of prongs extending from the base portion to contact the first end of the collar.

A surgical system includes an ultrasound device and a surgical instrument. The ultrasound sensor assembly is disposed at a distal end portion of the body of the shaft, offset relative to the longitudinal axis, and oriented such that the field of view is offset relative to the longitudinal axis. An ultrasound device includes a frame and an ultrasound sensor assembly. The frame includes first and second rails spaced-apart relative to one another and a longitudinal section defining a longitudinal axis. The longitudinal section has a distal end portion. The ultrasound sensor assembly configured to enable ultrasound imaging of a field of view and is attached to the distal end portion of the longitudinal section of the frame and oriented such that the field of view is disposed at an oblique angle relative to the longitudinal axis. A surgical system including the ultrasound device and a surgical instrument insertable therethrough is also provided.

A connection device attached to one structure includes structures having adjacent slots that are alligned to receive and permit placement of an elongated member, and are subsequently relatively movable to retain the elongated member to restrict or occlude the adjacent slot opening restricting removal, and further provides a sheer force between the structures each having the slot to receive the elongated member, to engage and secure the outer surface of a tubular member received into an aperture common through 2 adjacent members, each member aperture having an axis parallel to and offset from the other, wherein rotation of one of the 2 members causes the surface of the offset aperture and the surface of the non-offset aperture to apply a shear force and/or friction to engage and retain the tubular member. Access to the aperture is provided by slot extending from the aperture to the member periphery.
UTERINE MANIPULATOR
Disclosed is a uterine manipulator that may automatically adjust a location and a posture of a uterus according to an input of a user. The uterine manipulator according to the inventive concept may allow a motion of a total of four degrees of freedom with a rotation of a 3 degree of freedom of rolling, pitching, and yawing, and a linear movement of one degree of freedom in a forward/rearward direction, and because the tip may be adjusted in a narrow space, surgical preciseness may be enhanced. Furthermore, because the surgical operator may manipulate the uterus through a direct input, a surgical time may be shortened.
UTERINE MANIPULATOR
A uterine manipulator includes: a main body coupled at one end thereof to a handle and extending in one direction to be inserted into the vagina; a mount coupled to the other end of the main body and having a guide hole formed therethrough in a longitudinal direction of the main body; a support disposed on the mount to support the uterine cervix; a slider inserted into the guide hole to be coupled at one end thereof to the main body and extending in one direction to be inserted into the uterine corpus; an adjuster coupled to both the one end of the slider and the main body; and a head disposed at the other end of the slider.
