FILTER MEDIUM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILTER MEDIUM, WATER TREATMENT MODULE, AND WATER TREATMENT DEVICE
The filter medium is a filter medium which uses a liquid containing oil and water as a separation target, and has a channel for the liquid. The filter medium includes a base constituting the channel, and one or more of nitrogen-containing fluorine compounds which are provided on at least a portion of a surface of the channel. The nitrogen-containing fluorine compound includes an oil-repellency imparting group and any one hydrophilicity imparting group selected from a group consisting of an anion type, a cation type, and an amphoteric type, in a molecule.
Substituted diarylamines and use of same as antioxidants
A compound of Formula I, Formula IA, Formula IB, or Formula II, or an acid or base addition salt thereof, and use of these compounds as antioxidants. In one embodiment, a compound of Formula II, ##STR00001##
wherein each of X, Y, and Z are independently a carbon or nitrogen atom; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently a hydrogen or an electron donating group, but are not both hydrogen, and wherein R.sup.1, and R.sup.2 are each bonded to a carbon atom in their own respective aryl ring.

TRAFFIC MARKING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING POLYFUNCTIONAL AMINES
Disclosed are aqueous coating compositions containing an anionically stabilized polymer, one or more polyfunctional amines acting as crosslinking agents, and a volatile base. Coating compositions can further include one or more additional copolymers, which may or may not be anionically stabilized, and/or additional additives, including pigments, defoamers, pigment dispersing agents, thickeners, surfactants, and combinations thereof. By incorporating one or more polyfunctional amines, such as those comprising recurring units derived from the reaction of one tri-glycidyl moiety and a single di-, or tri-functional amino monomer, or a combination of mono/bi, mono/tri, mono/tetra, bi/bi, bi/tri, bi/tetra, tri/tri, tri/tetra, and tetra/tetra functional amino monomers with a bi- or tri-glycidyl moiety, water wash-off resistance of the coating compositions which comprise paint formulations, can be increased.
Pigment dispersant, production method for pigment dispersant, and pigment dispersion liquid
The present invention provides a pigment dispersant that exhibits high fine dispersibility, stability, and fluidity in a small amount, a pigment dispersion liquid including the pigment dispersant, and a process of producing the pigment dispersant and pigment dispersion liquid. The pigment dispersant contains as a main component, a graft copolymer formed through living radical polymerization using two or more monomers containing including a methacrylate A having an acidic group or a basic group and a methacrylate-based macromonomer B having a methacrylate residue at one terminal of a particular polymer chain that has a molecular weight of from 500 to 5000. A ratio of a total molar number of the methacrylate-based monomers relative to 1 mol of a polymerization-initiating compound in the raw material monomers is from 20 to 50 mol. A ratio of the B component-derived polymer chain to the graft copolymer is from 50 to 90 mass %.
