Provided is a process for preparing a PVDC additive blend in which an additive is blended with PVDC under high shear blending to produce a highly uniform blend in which the additive is homogeneously distributed throughout the PVDC. It has been found that performing high shear blending in multiple successive stages in which the concentration of the additive in the blend is reduced in each successive stage helps in prove the uniformity of the PVDC additive blend. For example, the high shear blending may be carried out in 2 to 6 stages, and in particular, from 2 to 4 stages. Also provided is a PVDC additive blend having a uniform blend of PVDC and an additive, such as a blend of a PVDC copolymer of vinylidene chloride and methyl acrylate and a fluorescing agent, such as 2,2(2,5-thiophenylendiyl)bis(5-tert-butylbenzoxazole).

FLUOROELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE THEREOF

The invention provides a fluoroelastomer composition that can be crosslinked at an industrially sufficient rate without the use of a graphene having specific surface properties and can provide a fluoroelastomer molded article having higher tensile strength and better abrasion resistance than conventional fluoroelastomer molded articles even though having a similar tensile modulus to conventional fluoroelastomer molded articles. The fluoroelastomer composition contains a fluoroelastomer that contains a crosslinkable group-containing monomer unit and an elongated sheet-shaped graphene. The graphene exhibits a ratio (L/W) of a maximum length (L) and a width (W) of 2 to 10.sup.5, and the graphene exhibits a ratio (L/T) of the maximum length (L) and a thickness (T) of 110.sup.1 to 110.sup.7.

An adhesive composition includes a coupling agent composed of a compound having a first functional group that reacts with an inorganic material and a second functional group that reacts with an organic material, and a crosslinking agent capable of crosslinking with a crosslinking site of a fluorine-based elastomer. A seal structure body includes a metallic support, fluorine-based elastomer and adhesive composition that causes fluorine-based elastomer to adhere to metallic support. A method for manufacturing seal structure body includes the steps of providing metallic support and fluorine-based elastomer, and causing fluorine-based elastomer to adhere to metallic support by using adhesive composition. Accordingly, an adhesive composition with high adhesion strength as well as a seal structure body and a method for manufacturing the same are provided at low cost.

[Problem] To provide an aqueous coating agent composition (in particular, an aqueous coating composition for lubricating films that contains a solid lubricant) which as a whole is excellent in terms of flowability, applicability, and storage stability and which is capable of forming satisfactory and smooth coating films effective in stick-slip inhibition. [Solution] The problem can be solved with an aqueous coating agent composition which comprises (A) a curable resin in an aqueous emulsion form, (B) a surfactant, (C) solid particles, (D) one or more nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds, (E) a film-forming silicone in an aqueous emulsion form, and (F) water. In particular, it is preferable that the (C) component comprise a solid lubricant. In view of the environmental regulations, it is especially preferable that the (D) component be 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone.
