Method and systems for isolation and/or separation of products from production processes
The present invention relates to separation of desired target products from biological, plant, and waste-type material, wherein the desired target products include renewable fuels such as ethanol, biobutanol, and biodiesel, wherein the separation is conducted with a cross-flow filtration system having the ability to separate desired products from both non-viscous and viscous medium.
Petroleum demulsifier
The invention relates to a composition containing petroleum, water and a demulsifier, and in particular to a method for demulsifying emulsions composed of petroleum and water.
Lubricity additive for fuel with a low sulphur content
The invention relates to a lubricity additive for fuel, particularly for diesel fuel, directly obtained from the acidification of a soapstock produced by a method for refining at least one vegetable and/or animal oil. The lubricity additive according to the invention is more specifically used for fuels that have a low sulfur content, for example, lower than 500 ppm (by weight).
Device and method of producing ultra-low sulfur biodiesel
Provided is a device for producing ultra-low sulfur biodiesel. The device for producing ultra-low sulfur biodiesel is a two-stage processing device, comprising a two-stage purification unit, a two-stage enzyme reaction unit, a two-stage distillation unit, and a decompression rectification unit. The present invention is green and environment-friendly, effectively and completely removing sulfur-containing impurities from the raw material, eliminating the attack of a sulfur-containing group in the synthesis process on fatty acids, and providing sufficient conditions for obtaining ultra-low sulfur content methyl esters in the product section.
Systems and Methods for Renewable Fuel
The present application generally relates to the introduction of a renewable fuel oil as a feedstock into refinery systems or field upgrading equipment. For example, the present application is directed to methods of introducing a liquid thermally produced from biomass into a petroleum conversion unit; for example, a refinery fluid catalytic cracker (FCC), a coker, a field upgrader system, a hydrocracker, and/or hydrotreating unit; for co-processing with petroleum fractions, petroleum fraction reactants, and/or petroleum fraction feedstocks and the products, e.g., fuels, and uses and value of the products resulting therefrom.
COMPOSITION FOR REDUCING EMISSIONS, CARBON DEPOSITS AND FUEL CONSUMPTION
A composition is disclosed. The composition is useful for reducing emissions, carbon deposits and fuel consumption when liquid hydrocarbon fuels are combusted. The composition comprises: from 80 to 90 percent (%) by weight of ferrocene; and one or more components selected from the group consisting of behenyl alcohol, hydrogenated cottonseed oil, and magnesium stearate, whereas each of the components (if present) is present in the composition in a maximum quantity of 10% by weight. Generally, at least behenyl alcohol is present, along with at least one of hydrogenated cottonseed oil and magnesium stearate. The composition can be prepared in the form of granulated material, which can be subsequently applied as such or can be modified to another form (e.g. tablets, solutions, etc.). An additive for liquid hydrocarbon fuels is also disclosed.
PRODUCTION OF A FUEL COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a method for production of a fuel composition, more specifically a middle distillate fuel composition, and a compositionin particular a co feed composition comprising a furanyl containing oligomerisation composition admixed with one or more material component comprising fatty acids or fatty acid derivatives and the use of such composition.
Fuel additive
The invention pertains to a novel additive for fuels comprising iso-propanol in an amount of from 60-70 Vol.-%, diesel and gasoline each in an amount of from 10-20 vol.-% and water in an amount of from 1-5 vol.-%. In another aspect the composition comprises Iso-propanol in an amount of from 60-70 vol.-%, lineseed oil in an amount of from 15-25 vol.-%, gasoline fuel in an amount of from 10-20 vol.-%, and water in an amount of from 1-5 vol.-%. The invention further relates to the use of the said additive in reducing carbon monoxide (CO) and unburnt hydrocarbons (HC) levels from emissions of combustion engines.

A SECONDARY FLUID FOR ENGINES
A secondary fluid is provided for use in an internal combustion engine that burns a primary fuel. The secondary fluid comprises about 15 vol % to about 30 vol % of alcohol; and about 0.0025 vol % to about 0.5 vol % of a lubricity enhancer which optionally is a castor oil. The secondary fluid is a thermodynamically stable microemulsion with water being the continuous phase.
