Liquid detergent compositions

Liquid detergent compositions can include a first surfactant which is a mixture of surfactant isomers of Formula 1 and surfactants of Formula 2: ##STR00001##
wherein from about 50% to about 100% by weight of the first surfactant are isomers having m+n=11; wherein between about 25% to about 50% of the mixture of surfactant isomers of Formula 1 have n=0; wherein from about 0.001% to about 25% by weight of the first surfactant are surfactants of Formula 2; and wherein X is a hydrophilic moiety; and a second surfactant including a linear alkyl benzene sulfonate.

DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS

The need for laundry detergent compositions that provide improved deposition of hydrophilic perfume ingredients onto fabrics comprising cotton fibres, and especially those perfume ingredients that deposit less readily onto cotton fibres, is met by incorporating certain cationic polymers and specific perfume ingredients into a laundry detergent composition.

PURGING COMPOUND FOR RESIN PROCESSING MACHINE

A purging compound for removing a processing residue comprising a resin (C) to be purged, from a resin processing machine, comprising: a thermoplastic resin (A) and a non-ionic additive (B) of the following Formula (I) having a melting or softening point of lower than 150° C.:

Rn—X   (I)

(where R is a hydrophobic organic group, n is an integer of 1 or more, and X is a polar group), wherein a MFR (280° C. and a load of 2.16 kg) is 30 g/10 min or less, the difference of the solubility parameter between the resin (A) and the resin (C) is +1.6 to −1.6 (cal/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2, the difference of the solubility parameter between the additive (B) and the resin (C) is +1.6 to −1.6 (cal/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2, and the difference of the solubility parameter between the additive (B) and the hydrophobic organic group R is 0.7 (cal/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2 or more.

DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ENZYMES

Laundry detergent compositions including alginate lyase enzyme, hexosaminidase enzyme and anionic surfactant. Methods of treating fabrics by contacting the fabric with an aqueous wash liquor having the detergent composition therein. The compositions and methods are particularly for improving whiteness of a fabric, improved soil removal from a fabric, for malodour removal from a fabric, for anti-wrinkle benefits, collar and/or cuff cleaning, anti-redeposition benefits and/or for improved drying of a fabric.

Aqueous cleaner composition

An aqueous cleaner composition providing good lubricity for obtaining superior cleaning and anti-streaking results on hard surfaces such as glass and stainless steel as well as plastic windows and the like. The cleaner composition includes water, isopropyl alcohol, droplets of polydimethylsiloxane dispersed within the cleaner composition for creating a lubricated surface. According to one implementation, sodium dodecyl sulfate is the surfactant which assists in soil removal. Essential oils can be added for fragrance, and colorants added for visual appearance.

Product for obtaining cleaning products from vegetable oils, method for obtaining the product and method for using same

The product of the invention allows cleaning products to be obtained by substantially increasing the oil-to-soap conversion rate to minimise the amount of product to be used, with minimum energy use and maximum transformation speed, allowing work with large volumes of oil. For this purpose, the product for obtaining cleaning products from vegetable oils comprises the following composition in % by weight: sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) between 9 and 11%, anhydrous trisodium phosphate between 4.5 and 6%, sodium stearate between 0.1 and 0.3%, xanthan gum between 0.5 and 0.7%, optionally brightener and/or perfume, and the amount of water needed to reach 100%.

CLEANING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ALGINATE LYASE ENZYMES

Compositions including an alginate lyase enzyme and anionic surfactant. Methods of treating fabrics by contacting the fabric with an aqueous wash liquor having a detergent composition with an alginate lyase enzyme.

ANTI-GREYING COMPOSITION FOR LAUNDRY

Described herein is a liquid composition including at least component (a) a polymer which is (a1) an ethoxylated hexamethylene diamine polymer, quaternized and optionally sulfated including on average 20 to 30 ethoxylate groups (EO) with an average molecular weight Mw in a range from 2,000 to 10,000 g/mol and mixtures thereof, and/or (a2) an ethoxylated polyethylenimine including on average 15 to 25 ethoxylate groups (EO) per NH-group with an average molecular weight M.sub.W in a range from 5,000 to 20,000 g/mol;

DISPERSIBLE ANTIMICROBIAL COMPLEX AND COATINGS THEREFROM

Disclosed are latexes, suspensions, and colloids having a cationic antimicrobial compound complexed with an anionic surfactant. The surfactant may have greater affinity for the antimicrobial compound than other anionic surfactants and other anions in the latex, suspension, or colloid that contribute to disperse phase stability to prevent disrupting the dispersions. Dispersions containing the antimicrobial compound may therefore have a shelf life comparable to dispersions that are otherwise identical but lack the cationic antimicrobial compound and its complexed anionic surfactant. Coatings made with the complexes can exhibit essentially undiminished antimicrobial activity.
